UNDERTAKING FOR MAINTAINING REQUISITE PERCENTAGE OF ATTENDANCE

UNDERTAKING FROM THE STUDENT

I, Mr / Miss -----------------------------------------------------------------joining for Two year MBA

course for the academic year 2013-14 in Army Institute of Management, do hereby
undertake and abide by the following terms:
1. I will attend all the classes from the opening day of the College as per the
timetable
I will be regular and punctual to all the classes and secure attendance of not less
than 75% in each subject as stipulated by WBUT. I am fully aware that the
attendance less than 75% in any of the subjects will cancel my candidature in the
End-Semester Examination. The absence on medical grounds will be offset
against the 25% concession of attendance that is already granted.
2. I will compulsorily follow the dress code and uniform prescribed by the Institute.
3. I will conduct myself in a highly disciplined and decent manner both inside the
classroom and in the campus, failing which suitable action may be taken against
me as per the rules and regulations of the Institute.
4. I will concentrate on my studies without wasting time in the Campus/Hostel and
attend all the tests to secure more than the minimum prescribed marks in each
subject. I will submit the assignments given in time to improve my performance.
5. I further undertake to take part in all the Academic Activities of the College viz.
Internal Tests, Tutorials, Seminars etc.
UNDERTAKING FROM THE PARENT/ GUARDIAN
I have gone through carefully the terms of the above undertaking and understand that
following these are for my/his/her own benefit and improvement. I also understand that
if I/he/she fail to comply with these terms, will be liable to suitable action as per
institute/university rules and law. I undertake that I/he/she will strictly follow the above
terms. I hereby give the undertaking that my ward will attend all the classes regularly.
