THE SOCIETY FOR THE STUDY OF AMPHIBIANS AND REPTILES, a not-for-proft

It is the largest international herpetological society, and is recognized worldwide for having the most diverse program of publications, meetings, and other activities. Seven publication series, each with a diferent function, are issued by the Society. Te Journal of Herpetology is a peer- reviewed quarterly that publishes articles on all aspects of the biology of amphibians and reptiles, with emphasis on behavior, conservation, ecology, education, evolu- tion, morphology, physiology, policy, and systematics. Beginning 2011, the Journal of Herpetology is published in 8.5 x 11 format with additional color throughout and approximately 550 pages/volume. Herpetological Review is a peer-re- viewed quarterly that publishes articles and notes, as well as book reviews, institutional features, commentaries, regional and inter- national herpetological society news, and letters from readers directed to the feld of herpetology.
