SYNOPSIS (Chapter Eighteen: "Let Me Go!

" {Mirror Scene})

[Dawn's P.O.V.]
"Coffee?" Someone from my back offered me a cup of coffee. I didnt look at whoever
gave me because I knew it was Richard. I just get it... I stand and kiss him at the cheek.
"Thanks Babe!" I said with a smile and sit down, still, not looking at him.
"Para sakin ba talaga yun?" He ask. Pagtingin ko... Si John pala
"Ay! I'm sorry, kala ko kasi si Richard eh."
"Its okay..."
I took a sip on the coffee...
"So, alone?"
"Yep. Vivs and Alice decided to stay at the house. Ewan ko kung ano na naman ang
meron dun sa dalawang yun."
"And Richard?..."
"He's... He has his business outside showbiz. Kala ko nga naandito na siya"
"Ah... Ganun ba?... Pwede ka bang samahan?"
"Ow! Sure! Thank you!" I said with a glad face
"So...uhm... You and Rich..."
"Yeah, ngayon mo lang nalaman? As far as I know, youre his bestfriend."
"Yeah, but he didnt share a thing about you."
"Talaga? Bakit daw?"
"He feels like, baka daw agawin kita from him." He said with a serious tone. I remain
silent looking at him
"Haha! Hindi naman yun mangyayari diba?"
"Yep! But I told him that, pag sinaktan ka niya, sasaluhin kita kaagad." He look at me and
smile.
"Nakakatuwa ka! Magkaibigan nga kayo, pareho bolero!"
"But I'm not..."
It stopped me...

"I'm serious Rachel, I'm dead serious." He is really serious. The way he utter the words,
and my name... I look away...
"I'm sure he'll never hurt me. He'll never do things that'll hurt me." Then I flash a smile
"Yeah... Just, be careful."
"What do you mean? Pwede ba diretsohin mo ako."
"You know he's playboy and habulin ng chicks. One day when he found another woman,
I wont be surprised."
"Excuse me..." I said with a serious voice
"Look, Rachel. I dont want to turn someone's relationship down, especially my
bestfriend's. But, I dont want someone get hurt because of my bestfriend too. I am just
warning you."
"You dont need to. I knew Rich so much. And he's faithful to me and I'm sure of it."
"Okay." He said
"Excuse me..." I said leaving him. Nainis ako dun a. I didnt expect his bestfriend pa. I
know he's making my boyfriend down. Hindi naman sa pagiging assuming.
"Rachel wait!"
I turn facing him...
"And dont ever call me Rachel again." And said turning and walking out again...
It was a midnight sa set. Wala akong kausap. Ang lungkot. He's not here, ano pa nga
bang ikakalungkot nun? I was alone sitting at the make up table sa loob ng tent. Lumipat
kasi kami ng set for the last one week of the teleserye. Ang lamig ng gabi. Something
flashes my mind. It was when He was with me. When he hug he when I'm cold or
whenever he's comforting me. Offer me his jacket for my sake. Not getting cold during
the overnight set. And making a kulitan with him. I just miss him so much...
A jacket was offered. It was shown from close to my face. Again, I didnt look at that
person. I just talk...
"John. Tigilan mo na ako. Whatever you say..." I look at him. It was Richard with his
mukhang galit na face...
"So, you've been with John all along the set?"
"No... Uhm... Makulit lang kasi siya kanina kaya..."
"Kaya ano?" Galit na siya

"Rich..." I sigh "I'm tired. I wanna take a nap." I stand up and about to leave him when he
grab my arm tight
"No!" He yelled
Namimilipit na ako sa sakit trying to get off her tight hold...
"Nasasaktan ako Richard!"
"Hindi mo to magagawa sakin!" He said
I tried to get off his tight grip and inaagaw ko yung kamay ko from him by pulling it.
Parang nag aagawan kami nung kamay ko.
"Let me go!"
"Hindi ka niya makukuha sakin! Not him! Not him!"
"I said let go!"
*bogshhh*
His hand holding mine on the broken glass of the makeup table. The strong impact ng
pagkakabangga ng kamay ko sa may mirror, it was cracked resulting my wrist to be
cutted. It has a three to four inches cut made by the broken piece on the mirror. He
unhold my hand first. I slowly departed my hand from the broken mirror shaking. I look at
it. It has the strong flow of blood coming out from it.
He slowly grab my arm and make me sit on the couch. Still looking at it.
He has this handkerchief out from her pocket and tinali niya yung sugat ko, carefully...
"Ouch!" I cant help but say
"S-sorry... Masakit ba?"
Pinandilatan ko siya...
"What do you... Ouch!... Think?"
"Sorry, nabigla lang ako..."
"I never thought na... Kaya mo pala akong saktan, physically."
"I'm so, sorry Dawn. I was carried away by my emotions. I didnt intend to. Hindi na
mauulit I swear."
*sniff*
He look at me. I had my tears falling.

"Sorry na Love." He said hugging me.

"Ikaw kasi eh!" I said hitting him with my fist...
"Aray!" I yelled. Natamaan kasi nung pagsuntok ko sakanya
"Lets go. Patingin natin sa doktor, baka may bumaon pang bubog diyan..."
Tumayo kami and lumabas sa tent...
[Richard's P.O.V.]
I was looking at her while the doctor was putting some bandages around her wrist.I,
myself cant even believe that I can hurt her. Maybe its just my emotions but, dapat hindi
parin. Siya pa, siya pa yung nagawan ko nun? Youre impossible, Richard!
I still looking at her with the guilt in me. She flinch everytime the doctor put some
alchohol on it. I dont want her to get hurt especially when I, myself did it. It kills me to hell
like What I'm feeling right now.
"Sir Richard... Sir?"
"Ay! Ano po yun? How is she?"
"She's okay na. Yung sugat medyo malalim, pero, naalis maman na lahat ng bubog sa
kamay niya."
"Sige po."
"And, one more thing... May kasama ba siya sa bahay mamayang gabi?"
I get curious of the question...
"Hindi ko alam eh, baka umalis yung mga kasama niya sa bahay. Bakit po?"
"Eh, I had observed that, her skin is so sensitive. I didnt know how much it would take,
pero she might had a fever mamayang gabi. Pero, dont worry, its not that severe.
Normal sa body niya."
"Ah...." I look at her sitting at the couch "...I can handle that. Ako na po bahala."
"Yes... Sige, una na ko Rich."
"Thank you." I said shaking our hand together. I flash a smile. He drove away
I sat beside her.
"Masakit pa ba?" I ask
She look at me and smile a bit...

"M-medyo..."
"Dawn, I'm sorry..."
She look down without looking at me. She just play with her fingers...
"Dawn, love..." I cup her with my both hands facing me. She has this teary eyes...
"Love, I'm sorry, anong dapat kong gawin?" I ask
*sniff*
"Just... Dont leave me..."
"I wont..." Then I hug her, tight. Now, she already break down...
"Shh..." I kiss her on the hair...
"Dawn, love. Sorry for hurting you. Nadala lang talaga ako. I never thought na... You
know, na masasaktan kita. Pero, I promise to Love you forever. And I wont leave you.
Hindi ako papayag na mapunta ka sa iba. From now on, I will always be right here, by
your side. I promise that and I Love you... Dont forge..."
*snor*
I smiled.
"Tinulugan mo naman ako eh.." I said almost whisperring
I lay her on the couch. Hinawakan ko yung ulo niya to support. I also place her feet sa
may couch para comfortable siya. I remove my jacket from me and kinumot ito
sakanya...
*kiss her on the forehead*
"Goodnight Love." I said before leaving...
