Low-cost and user friendly

The Salwico C300 series are easy to install and use low-cost two-core cables of simplest type. The systems are very easy to handle and maintain.

Salwico C308/316 central panels is a further development of the well-proven highly flexible Salwico C300 fire alarm system, which has been installed in thousands of ships world-wide during the last 15 years. Being part of the C300 series ensures full compatibility with all conventional detectors, manaul call points and other line units in the Consilium range. Outputs for alarm devices as well as relay outputs with potential-free changeover functions to be used as desired are

Automatic reactivation To raise the level of safe operation of the system a new feature has been implemented; the possibility of having an automatic reactivation of disabled sections within a maximum of 2 hours. Options
Control of Fire Extinguishing Agents, such as CO2, water, foam, Inergen etc. The release can be triggered by one or more detector loops. Optical Tableau (Mimic) shows the layout of the object covered by the system. Mimics are also available for fire door layout and door activation.

Salwico C300 Modular design

For larger installations the C300 can be designed to accommodate from 24 zones and upwards in multiples of 8 in both wallmounted as well as console-mounted versions. It offers the possibility of connecting our full line of dependable line units of conventional type.

Salwico C308 and C316 Compact design

The conventional type fire alarm systems Salwico C308 and C316 are the newest additions to our range of fire alarm products. They have been optimised to give high performance, reliability, user friendly operation and installation ease. These very compact systems can serve 8 fire zones (Salwico C308) and 16 fire zones (Salwico C316) respectively.

Tests and approvals

Both Salwico C308 and Salwico C316 fire alarm systems have undergone extensive environmental and working tests according to the EN54 norms to comply with the demands of all major classification societies and authorities world-wide.

Compact and easy to install

Both Salwico C308 and Salwico C316 have been designed in a low profile enclosure (W x H x D: 500 x 600 x 150) to fit into even the smallest of spaces, without compromising installation ease. Cable entry is possible both at top and bottom of the enclosure, with ample internal space for termination of field wiring.

Field devices
All systems have a comprehensive range of detectors, manual call points and other accessories associated with modern fire alarm systems. We also provide detectors and manual call points for both dry and moist spaces as well as hazardous areas.

User friendly
The control panel has been divided into two parts to simplify use. The left-hand side of the panel provides clear and simple information required in cases of emergency. The righthand side is used for operation and maintenance. LED indicators allow the status of the system to be evaluated at a quick glance. Salwico C308 has 21 outputs and Salwico C316 has 29. Of these 8 and 16 respectively, are programmable by the user.

Alarm Order and Alarm Delay

A built-in alarm indicator makes it possible to identify the order of the generated alarms. With one of the keys the operator can swiftly scroll through all the registered alarms, thus obtaining an overview of how a fire is spreading. Both Salwico C308 and Salwico C316 have a normally activated alarm delay function. This function is very useful in loading bay areas or during maintenance.
