If you are bringing a lily to the church on Easter morning yourself and would like it on the "Memorial" or "To the Glory of God" sheet, please let me know and I will include it. If you have any questions contact Colleen Ulrich or Barb Meyer. This past March personal hygiene products, a blanket, eight quilts, and a bedspread were donated to Cedar Valley Friends of the Family from New Life Lutheran. Thank you to the individuals from New Life who spent hours sewing and donating the hygiene products for this mission work. We appreciate your time and dedication for those who are in need of support at difficult times in their lives. Our prayer concerns for this week: Marjorie Meyer, Vern Poppen, Jodi Rinnels, Joe & Paula Miller, Robert Althoff, Dave Diercks, Bud Schueler, Galen Eiben, and Ron Westendorf. Birthday greetings were sent this past week to Brent Janssen and Janet Arjes. Thank you to Ron and JoAnn Taylor for hosting our fellowship following worship service.
Im But a Stranger Here 1 I'm but a stranger here, Heaven is my home; Earth is a desert drear; Heaven is my home: Danger and sorrow stand Round me on every hand; Heaven is my fatherland, Heaven is my home. 2 What though the tempest rage, Heaven is my home; Short is my pilgrimage, Heaven is my home: And time's wild wintry blast Soon shall be overpast; I shall reach home at last, Heaven is my home. 3 There at my Saviour's side, Heaven is my home; I shall be glorified, Heaven is my home. There are the good and blest, Those I love most and best; And there I too shall rest, Heaven is my home. 4 Therefore I murmur not, Heaven is my home; Whate'er my earthly lot, Heaven is my home: And I shall surely stand There at my Lord's right hand: Heaven is my fatherland, Heaven is my home.
