No central grease point for arm
All pin bosses machined with the exception of the foot
Pin and bushing failure at bucket is not uncommon within 250 hours
(machined to loose)
Vents were added at cooler location to dissipate excessive heat build up
(NOT FOR LOOKS)
Overall upper structure weaker than Doosan
Machine computer thats mounted in pilot compartment not tightly sealed
Water damage to computer is not uncommon
ECU is not fuel cooled and mounted below fuel filter
Due to excessive heat build up at ECU its not uncommon to replace ECU
and high pressure fuel pump at 2000 hour
Fuel filter change interval is 100 hour ( not published)
Height of upper roller is minimal and is hard to remove debris

No central grease point for arm
Komatsu is having pre-mature idler failure
This is causing pre-mature chain failure as a result
Komatsu does not re-enforce their idlers
Komatsu use a plastic cap on top of cab
This cap comes loose and blows off when being transported
Komatsu is experiencing constant parts issues
Komatsu runs a small lower roller
By roller being small, it has been reported that seals dont hold up well
Upper rollers are mounted low
With rollers being mounted low, it makes it hard to clean between chain and roller frame, and for debris to escape
ECU is block mounted and is not fuel cooled
