When machine is in independent travel mode all other
hydraulic functions are greatly reduced.
Kobelco boasts of auto engine and hydraulic warm up.
Doosans warm-up procedure requires no additional
equipment and takes less time.
Belly pans are standard equipment on Doosan DX
excavators. They are optional on all Kobelco machines.
Pattern change valve is standard on DX excavators.
Major parts supply and tech support issues
A lot of the wiring harnesses are not available for
purchase (technicians have to build them)
The upper structure has a c-frame type channel and is
very weak and does not protect major components
One cab air filter and is not sealed tightly
Solid state relays in poor location and not sealed
Auxiliary valve is not part of the main control valve
