Well thats a great way to start off April! For students in Grades 3-8, better get studying. With no more than 3 weeks the Mathematics State Test is coming. Since February schools all across the state have been studying long and hard to meet grade proficiency. Test strategies include annotating, having a piece of candy, last minute studying, having a good nights sleep, and having a great breakfast. E.L.A: April 1- April 3 MATH- April 30- May 2

Stress Gone Away


If your looking for something to get rid of your stress or relax for once? Studies have show classical music is proved to help concentrate as well as rid stress. Why not try a stressrelieving candle? Cheap, smells nice, and can be found any were! Some other techniques are doing things that you enjoy or clearing your mind then thinking of things you enjoy.

Whats Cooking?
Want to feast on some enjoyable little snacks but never have the materials? These 30-minute ideas are inexpensive and will blow your mind!

Peanut Butter Banana Ice-Cream


All you need for this recipe is peanut butter, one or two bananas, and a blender. Start by taking your banana and slicing it into coin like sizes. Take your slices then store them in your freezer until they are cold and hard. Take off the top of your blender and add your frozen slices as well as adding a spoonful or two of peanut butter. If it does not blend easily add milk or water. Voil, enjoy your healthy ice cream!

Oatmeal Banana Raison Cookies


All you need are a handful of craisins or raisons, a banana, and 1-cup oatmeal oats. Start of by placing all ingredients into a bowl and hand mix until thoroughly mixed. Then shape all the cookies, place on parchment Banana Pancakes paper and heat in microwave or oven for 15-20 minutes Although banana pancakes sound hard this recipe consists of two ingredients! All you need is 1 banana and 2 eggs. Start by slicing the banana and adding the banana slices and 2 eggs into a bowl. Start mixing until you get a frothy like mixture. Then cook your pancakes!

Egg shape Bread


This recipe is a piece of bread with an egg in the middle. All you need is one egg, a slice of bread, and a shape cutter. Start by taking your shape cutter in placing it right into the middle of your bread and cutting out your shape- you will not need the shape you cut out. Then put your bread on a pan and crack an egg right into the missing shape. Once your done frying your egg bread take it out your pan and your done!

Crafting for Fun?


Many people in N D.I.Y C have been crafting since they were born, others just started. But rumors have been crawling around that there will be the Battle of the Crafts in 2015. People have been preparing without even knowing the Battle of the Crafts will even take place. Although crafting is fun it takes up time. For the high school students graduating next years they might not be able to compete. Creativity is always being expressed throughout homes, schools, and art classes but never before have all of the top crafters in N D.I.Y C come together and competed against each other. Others reporting these Battle of the Crafts will annually take place every year.

Craft of the Week


This craft is something nice and easy that can be made in less than 15 minutes!

1 empty tin can Decorating Paper

Start by taking an empty tin can and setting it under hot water. Once under water for about 1-2 minutes peel off the label. Let can sit until dry and measure paper around can. Glue on decorating paper and voil{! Youre done

Hot New Movies FROZEN


Hitting top charts all over the world Frozen is known for its hit song Let it Go preformed by Idina Menzel. As it was intended for children people of any ages have went and watched Frozen. With many laughs, memorable songs, and sad moments Frozen is definitely a movie to see!

DIVERGENT
As a thrilling book series Divergent did not do as well as intended. Many compared the main character, Beatrice, to the Hunger Games main character, Katniss.

MUPPETS MOST WANTED


For many people watching a movie about dancing, singing, and talking puppets, the Muppets did way better than it was thought to do. Packed with many famous actors and actresses Muppets Most Wanted was packed with many laughs that are suitable for all ages.

THE PIRATE FAIRY


For most children Peter Pan is a tale that will always be remembered, but what about a pirate fairy? Disneys The Pirate Fairy is an exciting story that is worth the watch. With different types of pixie dusts to try why not watch Disneys The Pirate Fairy?

WEEKLY NEWS; Hop into spring!


Spring is here! Everyone is excited for all the fun events, scavenger hunts, and EASTER! With more crafts, D.I.Y WEEKLY has it all. childs school or at City Hall. All activities will be free, but providing materials is no problem. Students have fundraised and community members have donated enough money to keep these programs running for at least two years!
