LaserLyte introduced a weapon mounted laser sight in October of 2012 designated the Kryptonyte Center Mass Laser. As you may recall, the Center Mass Laser projected a center dot with a small constellation of eight dots surrounding the center dot. It had an Eotech flavor, but the concept was certainly new for that genre of accessory. Its product number was the CM-15 and it was packaged in a DBAL style housing featuring external windage and elevation adjustment caps. The benefit to the shooter was a more rapid target acquisition with correspondingly greater accuracy. They literally flew off the shelves.
The Center Mass pattern was a novel and interesting concept, which by-the-way, from a cursory analysis, looked at least to me to mimic a 00 buckshot pattern. Functionally, as you increase your distance from the target, the circle grows at approximately one inch per yard, which is consistent with what you can expect your shot pattern to do. Earlier this year, LaserLyte decided to upgrade the Kryptonyte Center Mass Laser making several changes to the design. The First thing to note in the new CM-K15B (Black) or CM-K15T (Tan) is that it features two

The laser is weapon agnostic as long as you have a minimum of 3 inches of unused rail space.
The CM-K15B is designed to run on the 12 oclock rail so the elevation adjustment is on top of the housing and windage on the side and to the right of the elevation turret, from the shooters view. Zeroing of the laser is accomplished via windage and elevation adjustments located directly behind the primary laser port. A flat head screw driver is required to make any adjustment as the screws are recessed far enough to prevent effective use of a shell casing. The CM-K15B runs on a single CR-123A battery with a run time, constant on, of 6 hours. However, always keep in mind that run times are statistical estimates and battery life is greatly dependent on environmental variables, ambient and storage temperatures being the most relevant. This laser has two modes of operation, momentary and constant on. Depressing the activation button fires the laser momentarily; depressing the activation button twice places the laser in constant mode. Laserlyte includes a pressure pad with the CMK15B that plugs directly into a small jack located at the back of the housing. After several weeks

opportunity to talk to a lot of people that feel having a shotgun is the best home defense tool a point I wont dispute. Their second sentence is almost always just point and shoot, and there I take exception. Nothing could be further from the truth so here is where LaserLytes CMK15 plays a vital role. The product delivers enormous value at an M.S.R.P of $219.95. Its also a lot of fun sitting on a carbine or a rail equipped rifle. Not to mention using it for your Power Point presentations. Can you exit an attack submarine at periscope depth with it? The answer is NO, but for a street price of $170 you cant ask for a better laser aiming tool. I like LaserLytes new CM-K15 a lot, and Ill bet you dollars to doughnuts you will too. Robustness, reliability and superb functionality all at a price you can afford Was it Rico that used to say that? Check it out!
