Methodology
Yourorganisations datawasanalyzedwithintheframeworkoftheGreatPlacetoWork Model.TheGreatPlacetoWork Model isbasedonthedefinitionofagreatplacetowork asoneinwhichyoutrust the people you work for, have pride in what you do, and enjoy the people you work with. Thisdefinitionimpliesthattheheartofgreatworkplacesisinthequalityof the relationships that exist there and identifies the workplace as composed of three interconnected relationships as representedbythefivedimensionsoftheModel.Theserelationshipsandtheirrelateddimensionsare: betweenemployeesandmanagement(Credibility,Respect,andFairness); betweenemployeesandtheirjobs/company(Pride)and betweenemployeesandotheremployees(Camaraderie).

Our employee survey instrument, the Trust Index, measures the extent to which a company is considered to be a great workplace by its employees. The Great Place to Work Trust Index is an employee survey tool that measures the level of trust, pride, and camaraderie within your workplace. By gathering qualitative and quantitative data on the employees perceptionoftheirworkexperience,thesurveyprovidesessentialinformationthatenablesorganisationstounderstandhow toimprovetheirworkplaceenvironment. Eachofthe63GreatPlacetoWork TrustIndex statementsaskedofemployeesreflectsaspecificaspectofour Model and fits into one of the five dimensions that comprise the structure of the Great Place to Work Model. Participants were also asked to provide written comments in response to two openended question at the end of the survey. See the Trust Index Surveyintheappendix.
