ABSTRACT
Researching into the effective exploitation and utilization of the solar energy source to generate electricity has practical significance in reducing climate change and dependence on fossil energy sources which are at risk of both being exhausted and causing environmental pollution. Modern technology has been using solar cells but the process of transforming intensity power into electric power has still gained low productivity. Therefore, in order to ensure that the solar cells are always at maximum capacity, the system must operate around Maximum Point Power. The article shows the result of imitating the gridconnected controller model for the solar energy source via the use of the maximum point power tracking algorithm. This aims at maintaining the maximum capacity of the system in spite of the fact that the load is connected to the power supply. Keywords: Solar energy source; solar cells; grid-connected solar cells; renewable energy; maximum point power tracking.
