Executive Summary
This report is primarily based on our Marketing Management project. It will provide an understanding of our business idea Kida Planet, a comprehensive detail of overall activities and it will also give an insight of how we will implement our idea. Our business idea is: Kids Palace where kids get their identical destination to enjoy, eat and celebrate. The target market is kids from age group 3-14 years. Management team consists of devoted and hardworking staff having passion for their work. Lower management and all other employees are highly skillful and experienced in the particular industry. All range of foods according to the demand and likes of kids. No other restaurant is providing such quality product under one roof. We are Introducing first time in Pakistan the cinema for kids show only.

Overview of the business


Kids planet provides all range of kids food, games, and fun activities and for the first time cinema for the kids. We are targeting all kids from age group of 3-14 belonging to elite and middle class. Kids planet is the place especially made for kids, where they will have all their healthy food and activities. Placement at Gulberg near M M Alam Road and prices are very much in range of target market, both adding value for the customers. All range of foods according to the demand and likes of kids. No other restaurant is providing such quality product under one roof. We are introducing for the first time in Pakistan the cinema for kids only. Management team consists of devoted and hardworking staff having passion for their work. Lower management and all other employees are highly skillful and experienced in the particular industry.

Objective of the business


Our aim is o provide services especially for children, having the finest quality of food and providing entertainment at one place were kids are served in a friendly environment. Through the years there has been an immense increase in Pakistani communities to go out for food and entertainment. We know how the industries of fast food have been growing in Pakistan. There is an awareness of recognizing restaurants, cafes and hotels to be the primary source of parties, social gathering, entertainment and celebrations. Fast food companies like McDonalds, Hardies and Pizza hut are the places which provide products of their choice to some extend but none of them cover their whole menu list. There is also one trend that is almost vanished in our society and that is the cinema culture. But it is not due to lack of demand. Major reasons include conditions of cinemas, bad selection of movies and cinema environment. We all know that how Cine Star, DHA-Auditorium and Sozo World revive this trend. All they do is to provide better environment, good facility and better shows. But that was all for adults and kids remains out to get such fun and experience. But again the demand is very much there. We all know that how kids took interest when local cinemas showed movies like Kung fu Panda.

Background and market analysis


Kids Palace is the place where kids get their identical destination to enjoy, eat and celebrations. It is the brand when children say our cafe or my restaurant when they talk about going out to eat and to have some fun. The brand has great potential to build customer equity. The products have massive demand as it is the place where kids find all they want. They are children who are most excited about going out and having some fun time with their peer group. Parties are the main source of celebrations and gathering among kids. Parties are one of most popular occasion for kids. But such parties always lack in providing all type of facilities and providing ideal experience. Kids Palace is providing facilities to arrange

birthday parties, special events, game shows and kids gathering for different occasions. These all type of gathering requires certain inventory, space, food items and especial facilities to organize, Kids Palace provide all these features and essential facilities in their services under one roof.

Industry size:
Food industry is the industry which proved to be the most successful industry in Pakistan. People in Pakistan especially in Lahore are very passionate and fond of food. There are number of restaurants providing quality food product and services and in return they gain high returns. The industry of Restaurant/food services is growing and there is still a big gape for new entrants. For business like Kids Planet is related to restaurant/food services industry it is one of the growing types of industry.

Market needs:
Whenever we talk about fun and entertainment the most ambitious and striving are kids but kids have to goat restaurants where they have to be under the nose of their elders and do not get chance o do their stuff freely. They have to remain silent; they cannot move freely due to fragile objects in such restaurants, kids usually do not get food of their choice and have to eat meals as they eat at home forcefully. Kids Planet solves the problem to handle children, when kids get entertain properly they will not tease their parents and cry for different objects. So it is the place where parents look forward to bring their children.

Market trends:
It is the type of both service and product business which is remains in high demand for all twelve months. The window of opportunity is very high; there is huge demand of such business as it is providing best quality product, solves the problem and adding value to the product.

Competitors:
The industry of Restaurant/food services is growing and there is still a big gape for new entrants. For business like Kids Planet is related to restaurant/food services industry but there is no direct competitors however threat of new entrants is high as the gap in the industry is very much there.

Consumers/target market:
The target market is kids from age group 3-14 years. Demographically the target market is large enough to propose the business. Children are the target market and they are regular customers for specific products and services like Kids Planet is offering. We are focusing on niche market and providing specific products for our narrowly defined target market. As we are providing multiple products and services to one target market, we have to analyze each and every related industry to deduct the overall target market attractiveness. For each related market like Arts/entertainment/recreation industry, accommodation/food services industries, the market is large enough for proposed business and have trends to get facilitate from this unique business.

Business Participants
It will be a partnership based business and there are 5 partners. Since we all are students of BBA (Hons.) and have entrepreneurial skills and knowledge to apply in the practical situation so it would be easy for us to run such kind of business along with the help of other management staff. The success of business is heavily dependent on the coordination with skilled and devoted employees of the organization. To select the best venture team we have to be very professional and accurate in the processes of recruitment and selection. We will choose such team members who have passion and love for their profession along with expertise and experience regarding particular industry. The selection would be on the merit and they will be tested in the work sampling tests so we can know that who can perform in the practical situations and able to improvise.

Product:
Kids planet is the place especially made for kids, where they will have all their healthy food and activities. Kids planet provides all range of kids food, games, and fun activities and for the first time cinema for the kids. It is a hybrid product.

Price:
We are providing best quality product, and we are targeting the upper middle and elite class therefore, Our pricing strategy is value-based. We charge high because we dont compromise with quality and it is that worthy to be paid high.

Placement:
We have chosen the best place for Kids Planet which is in Gulberg near M.M Alam road. To retain that place we need to sign a deed with particular terms like the span of time for which we are acquiring a building on rent. We also need to hire to handle legal obligations.

Promotion:
We will use following mediums to promote our product: Outdoor advertising (hoardings, streamers) Internet Marketing Mobile Marketing Electronic advertising (Radio) Print media (news paper)

The most important source would be the Human resource. That is the most significant resource to compete and to excel. On the other hand the whole business idea will be spoiled if human resource is not up to the mark; even you are blessed with prime location, huge capital and extraordinary group of entrepreneurs.

Physical evidence is the existence of our product and services in the market to serve customers. Our logo is our physical evidence and our physical environment where we will deliver our services as well.
