JAVA Java Basically, java is considered to be a popular programming language that was initially released by Sun Microsystems (Java, 2012). It is the underlying technology that allows programmers creating various utilities, business applications, flash games etc. That is why, we all need java, because the majority of websites and online tools requiring flash, do not function properly unless java is installed. Java is regarded to be even more secure than most other programming languages due to the whole set of reasons. First of all, java compiler is able to catch the large quantity of

compile-time errors (Gosling, 2010). Additionally, java does not allocate some direct pointers to memory, which does not jeopardize the computer system at times when memory is used or belongs to other launched programs. However, there are some risks linked to usage of java. Downloading java applications from anonymous websites can result in obtaining information about your IP address and undesirable access to data. Additionally, some passwords can also be revealed. In some cases, this can aid to delete or alter files stored on computer. Finally, java is annoying, because it offers numerous updates in browsers at least once a day. Practice shows that there were no security breaches in the history of java. And such occasions will not be frequent in the future. In order to avoid risks it is advisable to run a java-enabled browser. So, the utilization of browsers that basically support automatic java updates (for instance) Internet Explorer enhances our chanced to be negatively affected (Gosling, 2010). We believe that Netscape Navigator is more secure than Internet Explorer due to the updates in recent versions. Furthermore, Netscape Navigator definitely guarantees that java is

JAVA installed from vendors web pages and will not lead to errors. Speaking about hostile applets, we must say that they are mostly displayed in the form of warning messages (Java,

2012). That is why nuisance attacks and spyware applications are seen to be the only dangers, because java cannot bring damaging attacks at all. The fact that it corresponds to reality is beyond any doubt. In most browsers, plug-in tools do not provide security. Java-based attacks are frequent, because hackers regularly develop new channels of affecting computers and users. But, overall, there are practically no limitations of an applet in the web browsers.
