I am pursuing a Masters Degree in Education with focus on Student Affairs. I currently manage a branch campus in the community and technical college system and have the opportunity to work directly with students in both the academic and programming setting.

WORK BACKGROUND
10/2008 to Current Lake Washington Institute of Technology Kirkland, WA Program Specialist, Redmond Campus I am currently supervising and coordinating all activities at the Redmond campus under the Instructional and Student Services division. My role includes leadership in providing areas of services in Student Services, Instructional, Facility Rentals and building management as well as various areas needed. I supervise a workstudy student and a student volunteer, analyze reports using DATAX and create quarterly and annual reports. Oversee the Computer Lab including the mini library equipment and books checkout. Implemented and oversee a student computer lab with 18 computers Instrumental in coordinating Course Reserves and Library material check-out at Branch campus Oversaw the program move to the branch campus Launched a Summer Teens Program and successfully run the program for three consecutive years Coordinated and developed a textbook award for the Accounting program students 07/2007 to 10/2008 Bellevue Community College Bellevue, WA Program Assistant I worked in Support Services for the Continuing Education department at BCC. I provided point-of-contact assistance to clients, light bookkeeping, check-deposits, quarterly reports, light scheduling coordination, mailing, database management, managing all office duties, purchasing and assisted both the Tutorial Coordinator and the Executive Consultant of the business. 08/2004 to 04/2006 Sears Roebuck & Co. Redmond, WA Human Resources/Office Assistant My position at Sears required attention to detail and strong organizational skills. My responsibilities include working the daily reports and investigating transaction fallouts, submitting transaction re-ring requests, noting all activity done to a transaction and handling all incoming customer-service calls. I also handled accounts payable by ensuring all invoices are directed to the right account and paying all bills in a timely manner. Experienced with handling over $40,000 in checks and cash, overs and shorts, balancing store-safe, and making deposits. Conduct training and orientation classes which include taking care of all necessary forms for new-hires. I have some experience in processing payroll as well as working with time punch corrections. My position required me to report to both the Human Resources Manager as well as the Operations Manager.
