St. Ignatius College Preparatory, Magis Summer Enrichment Program, San Francisco, CA INSTRUCTOR 7TH GRADE ETHNIC STUDIES Designed and taught an introductory Ethnic Studies seminar to eighty-one 7th grade students as part of a summer enrichment program Provided students with the necessary tools needed to aid in the development of critical thinking skills for utilization inside and outside of the classroom Moderated weekly Friday discussion group in which students analyzed readings and discussed application to their lives

Prepare clear data processing narratives for reports and papers on research findings. Perform other research support work, such as field interviews, literature reviews, creating graphical representation of data summarizing results of analyses, etc. Stanford University, Office of Undergraduate Advising and Research, Stanford, CA PROGRAM COORDINATOR ERNEST HOUSTON JOHNSON SCHOLARS PROGRAM Offer students quarterly co-curricular programming (workshops, tours, dinners) which facilitate intellectual stimulation outside of the classroom setting with regard to the pursuit of doctoral degrees upon completion of their undergraduate experience Provide students with mentor-led study groups which support and supplement in-class assignments and facilitate academic excellence. Revamp the current curriculum utilized drawing from student perspectives for continued advancement of the program.
