Introduction
The Gold Coast Tweed Motorsporting Club Inc (GCTMC Inc) is currently inviting companies to be part of an exciting motor sport event, the Border Ranges Rally (BRR). The GCTMC Inc wishes to engage major and secondary sponsors to be part of the BRR promotional activities. Ideally, we will engage a major sponsor for 3 years and the secondary sponsors for a one year term.
Event Overview
The 2014 BRR is a round of both the Queensland and New South Wales Rally Championships. The event will run over four days from the 31st July to the 3rd August 2014 The BRR is a Confederation of Australian Motorsport (CAMS) sanctioned event and is run on shire roads within the Kyogle and the Tenterfield Shire Councils regions. The BRR has developed into a rally of significance for not only the entrants of modern 4WD cars but also the Classics. A growing number of nationally recognized drivers such as Ross Dunkerton (photo back cover page) have enjoyed this event and publically expel its virtues.

Secondary Sponsors
The GCTMC Inc wishes to engage major and secondary sponsors to be part of the BRR promotional activities. Ideally, we will engage a major sponsor for 3 years and the secondary sponsors for a one year term. In addition, these sponsors may be given space for brand awareness logos on the homepage of the website, defined advertisements on the sponsors page of the website, and the sponsors logo on the competing cars door plates.
Direct donations as part of the sponsorship package to local community service organisations
The BRR each year injects a great deal of money into the businesses of the region. But equally importantly the BRR injects much needed funds into local community service organizations. We actively seek the involvement of community groups such as the Rural Fire Service, SES, Showground Trusts and Community Associations and the Schools P&C, etc. In this way community groups raise much needed funds for new equipment and training. Each year the GCTMC Inc has donated directly to a number of these associations; in addition these community organisations benefit via other fund raising activities held during the BRR event. The opportunity exists for a sponsor to have part, or all, of their donation directed towards one of the community groups supporting the BRR. This provides your business with two opportunities to gain value from your support of the BRR. The sponsor receives all the benefits associated with supporting the BRR during the course of the rally; in addition the sponsor receives the acknowledgment from the local community for their support of these important organisations. Your sponsorship (with corresponding photo opportunities) can be handed over directly to these associations at the presentation of trophies at the finish in Kyogle. This aspect of the sponsorship package allows for a great opportunity for your business to reach directly to an appreciative audience who in turn are recognised and vocal within their community. The sponsor is seen to be a sponsor of the BRR and also a contributor to a service organisation. All business contributions towards sponsorship of the GCTMC Inc will be deductible as advertising and sponsorship. This investment provides your business with marketing exposure and direct support of the community organisations that play an important part in the running of the event.

Agreements
The earliest possible agreement of a sponsorship arrangement allows the GCTMC Inc and the organisers of the BRR to enact the above more widely. Once the terms of the arrangement have been agreed upon, we are prepared to commit to an Agreement which documents the expectations and responsibilities of both parties. In order to provide the best value from the association between the Partners, we propose a term of Agreement over 3 years, commencing with the 2014 BRR. Payments are able be made in installments by agreement with the GCTMC Inc. The GCTMC Inc thanks you for your time and interest.
