We love nothing better than talking about bikes. A good ride with like-minded friends is never complete without meeting up at our favourite stop for refreshments and talk about yet another great ride. What you wear needs to perform while you are riding and still look great when you stop off. For Autumn/ Winter 10 we have the Stockton Jacket that combines classic racing and a vintage style with a soft, washed black leather with vintage red and stone detailing. The Richmond Jacket is a textile waterproof option for the classic rider, using a Samtex outershell, the waterproof membrane and thermal lining will keep you warm and dry. Autumn/Winter 10 sees the fourth addition to the McQueen Legends series of T-shirts. The McQueen #4 is available in 100% cotton irregular jersey which gives the product a vintage look. The tee includes a print of a commemorative metal plate that features McQueen riding in the famous International Six Day Trials of 1964. In 2008 the plate, and a number of other personal belongings, were sold at the California Classic Motorcycle Auction. Along with the new T-shirt, the original as worn by McQueen T-shirt, available in washed black or white, and the McQueen Special Edition Jacket are available for the season. This jacket is a modern interpretation of the type of jackets he wore. We have substituted wax cotton for a modern Bristex outershell which is bonded with a waterproof membrane. This shell is soft to touch but also highly abrasion resistant. CE certied protectors, a removable thermal lining and waist connection zippers complete a very modern riding jacket for modern day riders.

GET THE ADVENTURE LOOK

Tackle those trails, deserts and mountain passes with the new Adventure range.
The all new Adventure range of products has been specically designed to perform both on and off road. The Adventure Jacket, Jeans, Gloves and Boots have a multi-purpose design that allows you to ride in comfort on the road but really comes into its own when you swap tarmac for the dirt track. The jacket and jeans are both constructed from 600 denier polycordura which is lightweight but tough enough to cope with the rigours of enduro riding. A detachable waterproof lining is included in both the jacket and jeans and can be removed easily when the threat of wet weather passes. Lots of ventilation is also key so that when you warm up you can control the ventilation to keep you cooler.

VENTILATE WARM & DRY

A detachable waterproof membrane, laminated to a eece lining, will keep the elements out while also being completely breathable, so you stay comfortable. 600 denier polycordura outershell with zippered ventilation on chest, back, underarm and forearm, allowing you to regulate your temperature.

THE HANDS
Short cuff design that is fully waterproof, includes moulded plastic knuckle protection and a fabric/spandex mix construction for maximum feel and movement.

SYMPateX EXPlOReR JaCket AND JEANS

FULLY EQUIPPED
The SympaTex Explorer Jacket and Jeans have been designed to give you the ultimate sports touring experience.
On the jacket a removable Storm Collar wraps around your neck and under the chin to keep the chill out while the Internal Storm Guard envelops your waist and acts to prevent the wind-chill riding under your jacket. The outershell is a combination of hard wearing Dupont Cordura and AirTex which gives the products a comfortable, lightweight feel. Inside the jacket is a soft shell lining that is completely windproof and can be worn as an independent zip thru. Completely waterproof, windproof and extremely breathable, thanks to the SympaTex Performance Membrane. The Explorer Jacket and Jeans performs hardest when the weather turns.

SympaTex is a performance membrane that responds to riding conditions. It uses a chemical reaction between two polymers that attracts moisture from the body, i.e. perspiration, and detracts water from passing through in the other direction, i.e. rain water. The result is a very breathable and waterproof membrane that contains no holes, unlike most other membranes that are termed as porous membranes. The advantage is the membrane does not clog up with dirt or oil and maintains 100% breathability all year round. In areas of extreme movement, e.g. elbows and knees, the membrane stretches. While no holes means no issues with letting in water at these vital areas.

Anti-WiCking BaRRieR
When you ride, the speed of water can actually work against gravity and travel up your jeans. This can actually wick up your jacket inner lining and soak you even if the jacket is waterproof. We have added an anti-wicking barrier to the inside hem of the jacket to help prevent this. Just make sure you tuck in your under garments into your jeans so that they are not hanging below this protective barrier.

WateR RePellent COating

Your jacket has a water repellent coating on the outershell. This means that the water will not soak into the fabric and make the wearer cold. Over time this coating will wear away. We recommend regularly maintaining the coating by using a non-silicone based solution available from your dealer or local outdoor clothing centre. A wash in or spray will help keep your jacket coated.

TOP TiPs
Tuck your gloves and boots in when riding in wet weather, tuck your winter gloves into your jacket cuff and your boots under your jeans. This will prevent the water from running down and into your gloves and boots.

Visible PROteCtiOn LaYeRs

The touring range of clothing has been developed to protect you from the elements. The SympaTex Explorers zip out windproof, soft shell lining creates the rst barrier. Over this goes the jacket itself, complete with leading membrane technology. Complete the layers with the new Bright Vest, which combines high visibility material for daytime and reective striping for night-time riding. Youre now ready to tackle the roads.
