Midfielder Chelsey Henderson scored three goals and recorded an assist, four ground balls, five draw controls and two caused turnovers. She was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for her balanced performance, the fourth Wildcat to earn the honor this season. Postseason Hopes Villanova is fighting for a spot in the BIG EAST Championship in todays regular season finale. If the Wildcats defeat the Huskies and Rutgers beats Temple on Friday, Villanova would be the No. 3 seed. The Best Yet Villanova is having its best season under third year coach Julie Young. If the Wildcats win today, they will finish with a winning record for the first time since 2002. If they lose to the Huskies, the Wildcats will finish at .500 for the first time since 2010. Series History This is the sixth all-time meeting between VIllanova and Connecticut. The Huskies have won the past five games. The Last Meeting (April 7, 2013) At Villanova last season, the Huskies narrowly beat the Wildcats, 12-11, in overtime. UConn held a 6-4 lead at halftime before Villanova battled back to take an 11-10 lead in the second. A Husky goal at 2:20 tied the game.
