Reaction Report
The overall goal of the stock market project was to invest $10,000 in four companies. Once the $10,000 was invested I let the money sit to see what the change was over the 8 week time period. The goal was earn more money than invested on the four companies. The results of that goal was that the Coca-Cola Company ended up achieving that goal by $295.60, and the Barnes & Noble stock achieved that goal by $1,146.17. The Toyota Motors stock and the Netix stock did not meet that goal and ended up being below the initial investment. Toyota Motors lost $158.48 at the end of 8 week period and the Netix stock lost $688.32 at the end of the 8 week period. I also had the goal of investing in companies that are well know and in companies that I support. I did achieve that goal of investing in companies that relate to me, Unfortunately not all stocks ended up being stable at the end but each of the four companies stocks were consistent in stock price each week. So I did kind of meet the fourth goal which was to invest in stocks that are stable and consistent. The reason I also picked these four companies is because I have spent money in these products/services, bought these product/services, and own them; so I wanted to know how their stock was doing.

What did I learn as a result of completing the project? I learned that stocks increase and decrease depending on whats going on within the company. I learned that if you invest money in the stock market and in a protable company then your odds of good return investment at the end of your investment period is good. If you choose a recognized company that doesnt always matter because even if the company is well recognized and sold at a low stock price it may not benet you in the end and can cause you to lose your original investment. The stock market is a risk and you have to be willing to take a risk on a company and sometimes the risk is good. I also learned that it helps to research the company before investing and risking your money in the companies stock.

Comments. If I could start the project over I would have probably done more research than I did. I also would have changed certain companies like Toyota and Netix out with different companies.
