Panel description
This author kit is designed to assist you in preparing your
submission. A template in Microsoft ord is a!ailable on the
Medinfo 2013 orld ide eb ser!er at
http"##$$$.medinfo2013.dk. This e%ample pro!ides all the
information you re&uire to comply $ith the Medinfo 2013
submission standards for panels.
The official language of the Medinfo 2013 'ongress in
'openhagen, (enmark is )nglish. *alues should be in
International System units.
To ensure that the greatest opportunity for participation in
Medinfo 2013 is made a!ailable to researchers and
institutions, authors may appear in multiple submissions but
may ha!e only +,) submission per category considered
$here they are the primary or first author.
-ubmissions for panels should include an outline of the
ob.ecti!es of the panel and an o!er!ie$ of the discussion
topic. Topics for panels should include an in/depth analysis
of an issue or identification of emerging issues in health
informatics. 0anels should include not more than four
presenters. 0reference $ill be gi!en to panels $ith presenters
from multiple countries or perspecti!es. All speakers on the
panel must be listed on the t%ree page subission. -trategies
to engage the audience in panel discussion are encouraged.

Deadlines
0anels conforming to these guidelines must be submitted
electronically through the Medinfo 2013 eb site by 10
7anuary 2013.
8irst authors of panel submissions $ill be notified by Mid/
March 2013 of acceptance or re.ection.
0anel submissions should be prepared as Microsoft ord .doc
files and should be submitted online according to the
instructions a!ailable on the Medinfo 2013 $eb site at"
