The Aerospace IGDS
The Integrated Graduate Development Scheme (IGDS) is a
professional development scheme for experienced graduates.
The Bristol Consortium is run as a partnership between the
companies and universities involved. Modules cover the areas
of design, manufacture, business and management, all with an
Aerospace bias. The scheme offers a programme of modules,
all of which are available as short courses. Graduates or the
equivalent can enrol for a part-time postgraduate qualification
such as a Certificate, Diploma Masters or Engineering
Doctorate.
The Aerospace IGDS has over 240 delegates enrolled, over
65 companies participating, and with 4 universities contributing
35+ modules.
The aim of the IGDS is to generate a high quality learning
environment by bringing delegates together from all sectors of
the industry: suppliers, systems integrators, prime
manufacturers of engines and airframes, airline and military
operators, flight test organisations and the research agencies.
We are meeting that aim and would welcome new partners,
new delegates and short course applicants.
