Pre-requisites

Ensure that following are read/kept ready before starting Online Application
Registration:
Read Prospectus 2014-15, Instructions and other details thoroughly and
carefully
A virus free computer with good Internet connectivity
Educational qualification details of Candidate needed while applying
A scanned clear passport photo of Candidate taken on a white background
of size 140 x 160 (60Kb) for uploading
Scanned clear Signature of Candidate done on a white background of size
60 x 90 (30Kb) for uploading
A Valid e-mail id of Candidate (which will be used during the next 6
months at least). All communication will be done on this e-mail id
A Valid mobile number for sending SMS
A valid Credit / Debit card/ Net Banking Account in case of ONLINE
payment
A Printer connected to system to print CHALLAN for CASH payment at
Indian Bank counters

Application Registration is a 3 Step process
(To apply for more than ONE course, repeat Step 1 to 3 for each course )
Step 1 Self-Registration
First time enter as New Candidate
Read the instructions carefully, accept the Declaration and proceed
Enter all basic details, verify before clicking on SUBMIT button (Once
SUBMIT, one cannot edit any data entered on this page.)
On submission a unique 6-digit password will be generated and will be sent
via e-mail and SMS. Thereafter, login as Registered Candidate using this
User-id and 6-digit password. This completes self-registration


Step 2 Payment Process
Login as Registered Candidate and payment can be made either using :
Online Payment:
Using Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking
If successful, a confirmation e-mail and SMS will be sent
Proceed further with Application Registration
Challan (Cash) Payment in Indian Bank: Challan will be displayed on the
screen (has three portions)
Print CHALLAN(Printer settings: Paper size A4, Mode -
Landscape)
Fill up and make payment in a convenient Indian Bank branch
One copy with the stamp of the bank and a JOURNAL number will be
returned as acknowledgement
Payment made will be updated (by the Next Two Business Days); e-
mail and SMS confirmation will be sent
Re-login, after confirmation is received, to continue with Application
Registration
Step 3 Application Registration
Login with the User-id and password allotted
Complete the Application Form in all respects using VIEW/MODIFY
button
Ensure that all data entered is accurate, accept a declaration and click on I
AGREE
System will prompt to SUBMIT. Once confirmed, Application Form will get
finally SUBMITTED and no change in the data is possible after this
SUBMIT
Thank you for successfully registering for the Pondicherry University

download Hall Ticket for Entrance Exam will appear on the screen.

Click on PREVIEW button to view your filled form
PRINT filled Application Form (Printer settings: Paper size - A4, Mode -
Portrait) and retain a copy for future reference
Special Instructions for Defence Personnel

Defence Personnel also should apply online only. They should however, take
a print out of the online Application Form submitted and forward the same
through the respective Head Quarter to the following address so as to reach by
the working hours of 15.5.2014:
