This document provides assembly instructions for IF connectors manufactured in China. It outlines 19 steps for assembling H-type connectors and 19 steps for L-type connectors. The steps include inserting various parts like pins, nuts, and rings into the connector and trimming the cable. It stresses that modifications to the design could impact assembly and that connectors should not be overtightened to avoid tearing the outer shield.

Standard assembly of IF connector(China manufacture)
This standard is suitable for current Chinese suppliers product. Any
modification in design and construction will be noticed and lead to different assembly.
clamp
Step-3 If the connector Pin very loose, then Use the plier to clamp the Pin. Step-1 8D-FB connector Pin Step-2 Use the short conductor insert into the connector Pin,and check it whether very loose. Step-4 The Pin had already been clamped For tight.
Step-5 Lock nut, flat ring, and rubber gasket Insert into IF cable. Step-6 Remove outer insulator about 30mm. Step-7 Shave off outer inaulator about 10mm to taper. Step-8 Shaves to taper on the side edge.
Step-9 Insert clamp ring into outer strongly.outer end is stuck out about 0.5mm from edge of clamp ring. Step-10 If outer is 0.5mm or more, cut out extra rubbish by knife when clamp ring strongly inserted. Step-11 Fold back braided ahield and trim cut Step-12 Cut aluminum shield in about half and divided
For H type connectors
Step-13 Fold back aluminum shield Step-14(H type) Overlaps aluminum with braided shield and trim cut Step-15(H type) Cut outinner insulator from the root
Step-16(H type) Remove inner insulator Step-17(H type) Cut center conductor in 17mm,Taper the end of center conductor using file
Step-18 (H type) Insert metal bush/insulator to center conductor. Step-19 (H type) Set metal bush/insulator in the connector correctly. Step-20 (H type) Insert cable straight in the connector so that the center conductor may enter a center pin.
Step-21 (H type) Tightening turns by lock nut. Turn only lock nut. Don't turn connector side. Space between lock nut and connector, 1.5mm is limits. Dont tighten lock nut strongly. If the locknut is tightened very strongly, Outer shield will be torn off in the connector.
Completed
For L type connectors
Step-14 (L type) Insert metal bush to center conductor.
Step-15 (L type) Insert metal bush to close the shield.
Step-16 (L type) Cut out inner insulator from the root
Step-17(L type) Cut center conductor in 12mm,Taper the end of center conductor using file
Step-18 (L type) First Insert metal bush to connector, Insert cable straight into theconnector so that the center conductor may enter a center pin.
Step-19 (L type) Tighten lock nut. Don't turn connector side. Turn only lock nut. Space between lock nut and connector, 1.5mm is limits. Dont tighten lock nut strongly. If lock nut is tightened very strongly, Outer shield will be torn off in the connector.
completed Note in Installation:
When the IF cable connect to IDU and ODU Must orderliness the IF cable befor tighten the connector Don't turn connector side when orderliness the IF cable Dont shake the IF cable when tighten the connector
