INTRODUCTION OF THE REPORT
This report title is Library Management System. It first introduce the basic idea or general knowledge about the system at the UBD Library, which include a little history, definitions and brief explanation on few parts that can be found in a system. Following the introduction is about the architecture of Information System and cover all the content and explains on each of the parts in a system and as well as portray an image and flow chart about the system. After that, this report will describe on how a system is constructed which is in the architecture of information system. This report will include the User interface of the system, Functions/Features, level of user, level of the security, back up/ support features, database, required software and hardware, Significant of information system in supporting government agency or private company goals. The research topic is about the library management system which is the electronic catalogue of libraries, information and knowledge (e-click). This system basically used to find resource material such as book, journal, newspaper and etc.
a. Objective
The aim of this research was conducted to learn more about the information system. In order to achieve the aims a few objective were carried out. One of the objective is the user should be able to know how the system works. Furthermore, to introduce the characteristics of this information system such as user interface, level of user, database, significant of information system in supporting government agency or private company goals and lastly future improvement that need to be implemented.
b. Scope
The scope of the report will be at the University of Brunei Darussalams library. The research topic will cover the entire characteristic and the importance of the system use at the library. As for the scope of the research articles, it will be covering from the electronic format or website.
