With the Republican runoff only a few weeks away, the question on everyones mind is, is
Sid Miller ready to lead as Texas Commissioner of Agriculture? Not everyone is made for
leading; leadership is a calling. Weve seen people with no or little true leadership skills in
powerful positions make one mistake after the other. True leadership is about taking

Sid Miller stands by his convictions and does not give up or change direction when hes
under pressure. An example of this is the Texas Sonogram bill which was not supported
by everyone. Miller was the author of the Sonogram bill and he ensured that it was
signed into law. This law has saved the lives of more than 8,000 unborn babies.
Commitment, Resolve and Perseverance
Miller is committed to his vision and has shown that he will persevere to make his vision a
reality. He is still fighting to protect Texas sovereignty from the Obama Administration
and federal bureaucrats. He is also fighting for taxpayers to pay lower taxes and for their
right to keep and bear arms.
Elite Decision Making
Sid has made good decisions throughout his life. When he was young he decided to
study Vocational Agriculture Education which led to his teaching career. He then decided
to continue his career in agriculture as a businessman. Today he owns three businesses
and has a successful career in politics. If Sid can make good decisions in his personal life
then hell also make good decisions when he is in the position of Texas Commissioner of
Agriculture.

Sid brings to the table a unique knowledge set. He brings his agricultural knowledge,
teaching experience, knowledge gained while serving as an elder in his church, years of
business experience and knowledge from all the committees he has been on. He served
as Chairman of the Texas House Agriculture and Livestock Committee which oversees
the Texas Department of Agriculture. He is a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock
Show and Rodeo and he was a member of the Agriculture Policy Board as well as a Farm
Bureau Director.
