General Instructions

The projects have to be done in groups of 6 students as a maximum and 3
minimum; any individual project wont be graded.

The day of the oral and written presentations is October 24
th

, according to the classes schedule.

Civil Engineering

Geographic Coordinates and GPS usage


Objective: To learn and explain how to apply geographic coordinates in Civil
Engineering, and to learn the applications of GPS in Civil Engineering

Activity: To investigate the geographic coordinates principal concepts, their
applications in Civil Engineering and their usage in GPS.


Description:
To form groups of 3 to 6 students.
The students will investigate the main concepts used for geographic
coordinates, how to use them and how to apply them in Civil Engineering
They will present their investigation in an oral presentation in no more
than 5 minutes.
The students must prepare a written investigation with the following
