The document summarizes similarities between Shia Rawafid and other disbelieving groups:
1) Like the Mushrikoon, Rawafid defend shirk (polytheism) by calling upon the dead for help instead of Allah alone.
2) Similar to Jews and Christians, some Muslims visit graves and make them places of worship, despite Prophetic warnings.
3) Rawafid resemble Jews and Christians in exceeding religious limits, just as they attributed divinity to prophets.

Imaam And Muhaddith Of Yemen On Shia Rawaafid And Khumeini Of Iran. Part 1:
[1]The Resemblance of the (Rawaafid) To the Mushrikoon in Their Defense of Shirk
Allaah (subhaanahu-wata-aalaa) said:
And they (Arab pagans) wonder that a warner (Prophet Muhammad) has come to them from among themselves! And the disbelievers say: "This (Prophet Muhammad) is a sorcerer, a liar. Has he made the aaliha (gods) (all) into One Ilaah (God - Allaah). Verily, this is a curious thing! And the leaders among them went about (saying): "Go on, and remain constant to your aaliha (gods)! Verily, this is a thing designed (against you)! We have not heard (the like) of this among the people of these later days. This is nothing but an invention! Has the Reminder been sent down to him (alone) from among us?" Nay! but they are in doubt about My Reminder (this Qur'aan)! Nay, but they have not tasted (My) Torment![Soorah Saad; Ayah:4-8]
After quoting these aayaat of the Quraan, Shaikh Muqbil (rahimahullaah) stated:
Therefore, say to the Raafidah: Indeed it is shirk to call upon other than Allaah in seeking benefit and in seeking protection from harm in a matter which none can (fulfill) except Allaah. It is not permissible to call upon Ali Ibn Abee Taalib or other than him amongst the dead (may Allaah have mercy upon them), because Allaah (Azza-Wa-Jal) said:
And those, whom you invoke or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmeer (the thin membrane over the datestone). If you invoke (or call upon) them, they hear not your call, and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it (your request) to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them. And none can inform you (O Muhammad SAW) like Him Who is the All-Knower (of each and everything). O mankind! it is you who stand in need of Allaah, but Allaah is Rich (Free of all wants and needs), Worthy of all praise. [Soorah Faatir; Ayah:13-14] And He (Subhaanah) said:
2 The Sal af i Cent r e of Manc hes t er 2 Dudey St r eet , Cheet ham Hi l l , Manc hes t er M8 9DA www. s al af i c ent r e. c o. uk | 0161 708 0417
And who is more astray than one who calls (invokes) besides Allaah, such as will not answer him till the Day of Resurrection, and who are (even) unaware of their calls (invocations) to them?
And when mankind are gathered (on the Day of Resurrection), they (false deities) will become enemies for them and will deny their worshipping. [Soorah Ahqaaf; Ayah:5-6] And He (subhaanah) said: And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allaah, any other ilaah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kaafiroon (the disbelievers in Allaah and in the Oneness of Allaah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful. [Soorah Muminoon; Ayah:117] And if you say, Indeed others have joined them (i.e. the Mushrikoon) in this (affair); so I say, whoever joins them in this (affair of shirk) is similar to them. Allaah said: And invoke not besides Allaah, any that will neither profit you, nor hurt you, but if (in case) you did so, you shall certainly be one of the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrong-doers). And if Allaah touches you with hurt, there is none who can remove it but He; and if He intends any good for you, there is none who can repel His Favour which He causes it to reach whomsoever of His slaves He will. And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. *Soorah Yoonus; Ayah:106-107] When you relate these verses and their likes to the (Rawaafid), and then say to them, Indeed is it permissible to call upon the dead and seek deliverance and rescue from them? They (reply), you are a Wahhaabi; you hate the family of the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam). This is the same (affair) with the extreme Soofees; when you say, indeed the awliyaa can neither benefit nor harm, they (soofees) say, you hate the awliyaa. Indeed, Mighty is the word that comes out of the mouths of these two sects; they utter nothing but a lie.
[2]The Resemblance of the Rawaafid to the Jews and Christians With Regards To Taking Graves as Places of Worship
Aaisha (radiyallaahu-anhaa) narrated that Umm Salama (radiyallaahu-anhaa) mentioned about a church she had seen in Ethiopia in which there were pictures. They told the Prophet about it, on which he (sallal-laahu- alayhi-wasallam) said,
Those people, if any righteous man dies amongst them, they would build a place of worship at his grave and put those pictures in it. They are the worst of creatures in the sight of Allah. [Bukhaari; Vol: 1 No: 427]
3 The Sal af i Cent r e of Manc hes t er 2 Dudey St r eet , Cheet ham Hi l l , Manc hes t er M8 9DA www. s al af i c ent r e. c o. uk | 0161 708 0417
And the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said:
Allaah cursed the Jews and Christians because they took the graves of their Prophets as places of worship
So the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) warned against that which they (Jews and Christians) did.
So, if you say, Indeed, some of the Muslims have joined them in this (affair), then I say, they (Jews and Christians) are the fanatics in this affair, and whoever joins them (in this affairs) is similar to them.
[3]The resemblance of the Rawaafid to the Jews and Christians in Exceeding the Limits in Religion
Allaah (Subhaanahu-Wata-aalaa) said: Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allaah is the Messiah *'Iesa (Jesus)+, son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allaah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allaah, then Allaah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers) there are no helpers. Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allaah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no ilaah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilaah (God -Allaah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them. Will they not repent to Allaah and ask His Forgiveness? For Allaah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. The Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Maryam (Mary)] was a Siddeeqah [i.e. she believed in the words of Allaah and His Books (see Verse 66:12)]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allaah does not eat). Look how We make the Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them, yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth). Say (O Muhammad to mankind): "How do you worship besides Allaah something which has no power either to harm or to benefit you? But it is Allaah Who is the All-Hearer, All-Knower." Say (O Muhammad): "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Exceed not the limits in your religion (by believing in something) other than the truth, and do not follow the vain desires of people who went astray in times gone by, and who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the Right Path."

And He (The Most High) said: O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of Allaah aught but the truth. The Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), was (no more than) a Messenger of Allaah and His Word, ("Be!" - and he was) which He bestowed on Maryam (Mary) and a spirit (Rooh) created by Him; so believe in Allaah and His Messengers. Say not: "Three (trinity)!" Cease! (it is) better for you. For Allaah is (the only) One Ilaah (God), Glory be to Him (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allaah is All-Sufficient as a Disposer of affairs. And He (The Most High) said: And the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allaah, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allaah. That is a saying from their mouths. They imitate the saying of the disbelievers of old. Allaah's Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth! They (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allaah (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allaah), and (they also took as their Lord) Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary), while they (Jews and Christians) were commanded [in the Tauraat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)) to worship none but One Ilaah (God - Allaah) Laa ilaaha illaa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) [ . Praise and glory be to Him, (far above is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him)."
And He (The Most High) said: It is not (possible) for any human being to whom Allaah has given the Book and Al-Hukma (the knowledge and understanding of the laws of religion, etc.) and Prophethood to say to the people: "Be my worshippers rather than Allaah's." On the contrary (he would say): "Be you Rabbaniyun (learned men of religion who practise what they know and also preach others), because you are teaching the Book, and you are studying it. Nor would he order you to take angels and Prophets for lords (gods) [] . Would he order you to disbelieve after you have submitted to Allaah's Will? After quoting these aayaat of the Quraan, Shaikh Muqbil (rahimahullaah) then said: And it has preceded (i.e. in this book) concerning their (Rawaafids) exaggeration about their Imaams; Amongst them are those who say that their Imaams will return after death; and from them are those who claim that some of their Imaams are infallible; and amongst them are those who say that Ali (radiyallaahu- anhu) can bring back the dead to life; and amongst them is one who says that he (Ali) walks on the sea to the end of (such) false and deluded speech. Ali, Hasan, Husain Muhammad Bin Hanafiyyah, Ali Bin Husain, Hasan Bin Hasan, Muhammad Bin Ali Bin Husain, Jafar Bin Muhammad, Zaid Bin Ali and those who follow their path (rahimahumullaah) from ahlul bayt free themselves from these falsehoods and its people.

And know that the Raafidah were not named Raafidah except from the time they rejected Zaid Bin Ali; however the path of the Raafidah is that of their predecessor Abdullaah Bin Sabah and those who proceeded upon his path of deafness, dumbness and blindness, of those who do not possess understanding.
Ali (Radiyallaahu-anhu) rejects the exaggeration of the Raafidah Imaam Ahmad Bin Amr Bin Abee Aasim said in his book As-Sunnah; Vol:2; page476 that Ali (radiyallaahu- anhu) said: Verily a people will love me until they enter the hell fire because of me; and verily a people will hate me until they enter the hell fire due to their hatred of me [1]
[4]The Resemblance of the Rawaafid to the Jews in Their Enmity towards the People of Islaam
Allaah (subhaanahu-Wata-aalaa) said:
Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and those who are Al-Mushrikoon [Maa-idah; Ayah:82]
Shaikh Muqbil (rahimahullaah) then said:
The enmity of the Rawaafid towards the people of Islaam is recognised by the one who has mixed with them. They hold positions by which they co-operate with the enemies of Islaam against the Muslims, as mentioned by Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) in Minhaajus Sunnah
We have heard the rawaafid of the (town of Sadah in Yemen) saying, the wahhaabiyyah are more harmful to Islaam than the communists/socialists; and what they mean by wahaabiyyah is the callers to Allaah. (i.e. the callers to Tawheed, the authentic Sunnah and the way of the salaf)
6 The Sal af i Cent r e of Manc hes t er 2 Dudey St r eet , Cheet ham Hi l l , Manc hes t er M8 9DA www. s al af i c ent r e. c o. uk | 0161 708 0417
And from their resemblance to the Jews, is that the Jews do not work on Saturdays; likewise, the rawaafid do not work on the day of Aashooraah, because it was the day in which Husain (radiyallaahu-anhu) was killed; and they engage in various forms of innovations and affairs in opposition (to Islaam).
Their resemblance to the enemies of Islaam is too much to be enumerated; and all of this is due to their enmity towards the Sunnah of the Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) and their hostility towards its people: so when they turned away (from the Path of Allaah), Allaah turned their hearts away (from the Right Path). [Saff; Ayah:5]
[5]The Resemblance of the Rawaafid to the Jews in Envy
Allaah (subhaanahu-wata-aalaa) said:
Neither those who disbelieve among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) nor Al-Mushrikoon (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allaah, idolaters, polytheists, pagans, etc.) like that there should be sent down unto you any good from your Lord. But Allaah chooses for His Mercy whom He wills. And Allaah is the Owner of Great Bounty. *Baqarah;Ayah:105+
And He (The Most High) said:
Many of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) wish that if they could turn you away as disbelievers after you have believed, out of envy from their ownselves, even, after the truth has become manifest unto them. But forgive and overlook, till Allaah brings His Command. Verily, Allaah is Able to do all things. *Baqarah; Ayah:109+
And He (subhaanahu-wata-aalaa) said:
Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture? They believe in Jibt and Taaghoot and say to the disbelievers that they are better guided as regards the way than the believers (Muslims). They are those whom Allaah has cursed, and he whom Allaah curses, you will not find for him (any) helper, Or have they a share in the dominion? Then in that case they would not give mankind even a Naqra (speck on the back of a date-stone). Or do they envy men (Muhammad and his followers) for what Allaah has given them
7 The Sal af i Cent r e of Manc hes t er 2 Dudey St r eet , Cheet ham Hi l l , Manc hes t er M8 9DA www. s al af i c ent r e. c o. uk | 0161 708 0417
of His Bounty? Then We had already given the family of Ibraaheem (Abraham) the Book and Al-Hikmah (As-- Sunnah - Divine Inspiration to those Prophets not written in the form of a book), and conferred upon them a great kingdom *Nisaa; Ayah:51-54] Shaikh Muqbil (rahimahullaah) then said:
If these forsaken (rawaafid) see a student of student who is not a Shia, they war against him, invent lies against him and belittle that which he calls to. We find this (behaviour of theirs) in Yemen, and may Allaah kill them.
They have not been strong in defending their falsehood; their lies are exposed, (but) then they turn towards another path of lies. And had their shameless/disgraceful lies been enumerated for you, it would have (reached) volumes.
[7]The Resemblance Of The Rawaafid To The Jews, With Regards To The Absence Of Saying Aameen In The Prayer
The Prophet (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) said:
The Jews do not envy you over anything as much as they envy you over salutation and aameen [2]
Shaikh Muqbil (rahimahullaah) then said:
And in the opinion of these forsaken ones (i.e. the Rawaafid), the (utterance) of Aameen is a nullifier of the prayer. We have mentioned this (affair) in Riyaadul Jannah Fee Ar-radd Alaa Adaa-is Sunnah and all praise be to Allaah.
And it has become of them at present that they do not have the audacity to say that the Aameen and placing the right hand over the left hand are nullifiers of the prayer; for they do know that the people do have understanding of the Religion, and that they do know the truth as opposed to falsehood; but they (Rawaafid) say;
8 The Sal af i Cent r e of Manc hes t er 2 Dudey St r eet , Cheet ham Hi l l , Manc hes t er M8 9DA www. s al af i c ent r e. c o. uk | 0161 708 0417
Indeed, these wahhaabiyyah speak about the Ruyah (i.e. that the believers will see Allaah in the aakhirah), and that Allaah has a face and two handsand other than that, of that which ahlus Sunnah speak with based upon the evidences in the Book and the Sunnah.
So we say: Yes; yes indeed; we affirm what Allaah affirmed for himself and upon this we live and upon it we die Inshaa-Allaah. So die in your rage, for we have criticized your deviated views in our book (titled): Ir- shaad Dzawiy al-Fitan Li-ib-aad Ghulaatul Rawaafid Minal Yemen and all praise be to Allaah.
[8]The Resemblance of the Rawaafid to the Jews in Tahreef (i.e. Changing Words and Statements from Their Places)
Allaah (subhaanahu-wata-aalaa) said:
Do you (faithful believers) covet that they will believe in your religion inspite of the fact that a party of them (Jewish rabbis) used to hear the Word of Allaah [the Tauraat (Torah)], then they used to change it knowingly after they understood it? *Baqarah; Ayah:75+
And He (Subhaanahu-wata-aalaa) said: And of the Jews are men who listen much and eagerly to lies - listen to others who have not come to you. They change the words from their places *Maa-idah; Ayah:41] The changing of words/statements of the Quraan by the Rawaafid has no limits, and I will mention a little of (that).
Example One:
The statement of Allaah: Verily, Allaah commands you that you slaughter a cow [Baqarah; Ayah:67]; the Rawaafid say that this means Aaisha (radiyallaahu-anhaa) Example Two:
9 The Sal af i Cent r e of Manc hes t er 2 Dudey St r eet , Cheet ham Hi l l , Manc hes t er M8 9DA www. s al af i c ent r e. c o. uk | 0161 708 0417
The statement of Allaah: Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture? They believe in Jibt and Taaghoot [Nisaa;Ayah:51] (Jibt and Taaghoot: that is anything worshipped besides Allaah; it may be an idol, satan, graves, stone, the sun, a star, etc)
The Rawaafid say that Jibt and Taagoot are Abu Bakr and Umar (radiyallaahu-anhumaa).
Shaikh Muqbil (rahimahullaah) then stated:
I have read these changing of (words and statements) by the Rawaafid in the books of the Ismaa-eeliyyah (shia sect).
Imaam Shawkaani (rahimahullaah) stated in Al-Fawaa-idul Majmoo-ah, page:317;
And in the explanations of the (Rawaafid) is that the statement of Allaah, He (Allaah) has let loose the two seas.. [Ar-Rahmaan; Ayah:19], means Ali and Faatimah (radiyallaahu-anhumaa)
How numerous are the offences of the Raafidah against the shareeah of Allaah, and how numerous are their cock and bull stories. May Allaah purify the Muslim lands from their deviated distortions, Aameen.
A Test for Khomeini and Those Who Defend the Figure Heads of the Rawaafid
Shaikh Muqbil (rahimahullaah) then said:
And whoever thinks that we have exceeded the limits then let him ask Khomeini, saying:
Are you Jafariy?; if he (Khomeini) says, yes; then you should refer back to the books (written by ahlus sunnah) on Religious creeds and sects, such as the books Al Farqu Baynal Firaqi of khateeb al Baghdaadee and Al-Milal Wan-nihal of Shahrastaanee, and then examine the creed of the Jafariyyah (Shia faction)
10 The Sal af i Cent r e of Manc hes t er 2 Dudey St r eet , Cheet ham Hi l l , Manc hes t er M8 9DA www. s al af i c ent r e. c o. uk | 0161 708 0417
And ask Khomeini, saying, Are you Imaamiy?; If he says, yes; then refer back to the books (written by ahlus Sunnah) on Religious creeds and sects, and then examine the creed of the Imaamiyyah (shia faction)
And ask Khomeini, saying, Are you ithnaa Asha-riy? If he says, yes; then refer back to the books (written by ahlus Sunnah) on Religious creeds and sects, and then examine the creed of the ithnaa asha- riyyah (shia faction).
And ask Khomeini about the disbelievers/heretics behind the partisanship towards the family of Ali, such as Abdullaah Bin Saba (the Jew) and Naseerud-deen At-Toosee, rather ask him about Abu LuLu-a Al-Majoosee (the fire worshipper), who killed Umar Ibnul Khattaab (radiyallaahu-anhu).
And ask Khomeini about their books (i.e. the shia books), in which it is stated that the Quraan is incomplete, and ask him whether such books (of the shia) are Islamic books.
And ask Khomeini what he means by his statement that, Our Imaams (i.e. the shia Imaams) have a status which is neither reached by a prophet sent as a Messenger nor by an Angel of high standing.
Seek a reply from Khomeini through Tehran broadcasting; indeed you will find him startled. If he speaks and utilizes Taqiyya which is hypocrisy, the Rawaafid will become angry with him; and if he makes clear that which he is upon, then you will come to know of his filthy creed. [The end]
What is Taqiyya?
Taqiyya, or not showing their faith openly by means of pretence, dissimulation, or concealment, is a special type of LYING which is taught and used by the Shi'a.
