Manufacturing quality

With our extensive knowledge and
expertise we are able to provide
individual package designs to suit
power generation or mechanical drive
applications.
We have adopted engineering and
construction principles which are
designed for simplicity in operation
and maintenance. For instance,
modular systems permit fast and
efficient component replacement with
minimumdowntime.
Environment
Concern for the environment has been
part of our strategy for many years, a
fact that has put us at the forefront of
gas turbine environmental technology.
ALSTOM has developed advanced
emissions reduction technology to
minimise environmental impact.
Emissions performance varies with
product and specific parameters, but
generally all our industrial gas turbines
have Dry Low Emissons (DLE) capability
of below 25vppmd for NOx on natural
gas. Some gas turbines have even
lower levels and the Cyclone and
Tempest machines can operate below
10vppmd on natural gas.

Control systems
We provide control systems for all our
gas turbines. The control systems are
designed and manufactured to the
highest standards and provide optimum
performance and availability for your
gas turbine and associated plant,
whether it be in a cogeneration or
combined cycle application or turbine
driven compressors or pumps in an
offshore environment.
Turnkey contracts
We work closely with our customers on
turnkey contracts where we take
responsibility for the overall project
design of civil, electrical and mechanical
installation, including ancillary plant.
Financing solutions
We offer financing solutions designed to
meet customers specific needs including
hire purchase, finance lease, rental and
maintenance availability.
