Commercio 2014 was created with a vision of celebrating the spirit of

commerce at Bhim Rao Ambedkar College. This event is a first of its kind
festival of our college. It will be a two day extravaganza that includes not only
debates and online trading, but also fun filled events like Treasure Hunt,
Mystery Box and many more.
Although certainly a first timer for us, the members of the newly formed
commerce society have put in an immense effort into the execution of the
event and used the available resources to the fullest.
The events in general have been bridged from various ideas pitched by the
finest creative minds of our college. The most popular event at Commercio
2014 is artistic event called Paint Your IDEA Sirji!! which will be held on Day 1
i.e. 26th of March 2014.
Following which, we begin with an event named "Urban Tashan" where
participants utilize recycled materials like newspapers and other biodegradable
materials to develop fashionable ensembles.
Interactive events like "Bolly Bid" and Mystery Box would allow participants
to discover their latent potential to negotiate, bargain, sell and purchase. It
would bring the students a step closer to reality and help them broaden their
horizons about the transactions associated with personal selling and marketing
activities.
Overall we aim to progress towards a fantastic event that would be fun for
anyone who has even a passing interest in commerce.
The society as a whole assures you that the whole festival will be two days full
of entertainment and knowledgeable events, which would leave you with a
broader appreciation for commerce and its roles in our lives.




COMMERCIO 2014: an overview

1. KEJRI FALL
What made Kejri take the fall?
The event is conceptualized around debates about the Policies of Mr. Arwind
Kejriwal. The participants will participate in a Group Discussion followed by one on
one Debate.

2. PAINT YOUR IDEA SIR JI !!
Where Madness Meets Creativity
This event brings together the diverse skill set of its participants and helps them
present their ideas to develop a product line and showcase their advertising skills.

3. MOCK STOCK
Let's Trade!!
This online event gives an idea to our Future Traders about the online trading
process, in the form of Penny Stocks.

4. URBAN TASHAN
Recycling Paper to Fashion
This is where fashion meets panache and where creativity brings the best out of
waste. The participants will design chic ensembles out of recycled materials.

DAY 2- Thursday, 27 March 2014

1. BOLLY- BID
Lights!! Camera!! Business!!
Participants in this event would become a part of a Bollywood Set-up to understand
the business role of Casting Directors.

2. IN A BOX
Jo Dikhta Hain, Voh Bikta Hain
The Mysterious Box pulls out the marketing and personal selling skills of the
participants when they meet their perspective buyers.

3. TREASURE HUNT
Be the Bond_007 of BRAC
The Hunt for the Treasure begins among those who hold the logical sagacity and the
strength to pace them with time.
