UNITED KINGDOM
As we know, United Kingdom is a famous country. The official language of United
Kingdom is English. London is the capital of the United Kingdom. Mostly I know about the
United Kingdom from watching television, especially I know it from the traveled program. The
first thing that I know about United Kingdom is famous places in London such as Big Ben,
London Eye, Buckingham Palace, etc. Big Ben or The Clock Tower is located in the city of
London. Actually, Big Ben does not refer to the famous clock, but it is a bell. Big Ben is the
UKs most popular tourist attraction and also the icon city of London. London eye is a popular
tourist attraction. London eye is a giant observation wheel. There are glass capsules and you can
enjoy the view of London (including Buckingham Palace, St. Pauls Cathedral and the Houses of
Parliament). Buckingham Palace is the famous building in London because it is an official
residence of the Queen.
The second is the song London Bridge is Falling Down. Children in the world know
this famous song, but London Bridge had indeed fallen down. The third is about the history of
literature. William Shakespeare is a writer who has a great role in the history of English
literature. I know his because I learn about the history of English literature. His works make the
Elizabethan period called Golden Age. The last that I know about United Kingdom is David
Beckham. David Beckham is a famous English football player and he was born in London. David
Beckham has a big role to raise an image of Major League Soccer especially in United Kingdom
and also in the world.

The Perception of Youth to the Royal Family
Form of Government of United Kingdom is Monarchy. Windsor Castle is the big palace
in the world and also Windsor is the name of Royal Family of Britain. Kate Middleton and
Prince William are members of the Royal Family. The Royal Family has roles to advance the
state (economic, politic, national unity, etc) and also prosper the nation. Nowadays, Queen
Elizabeth II becomes Head of State. For me the Queen has important works and big roles to solve
the problem such as in political side, religion side, diplomatic relations, and helping to strengthen
national unity and stability. For example: Queen Elizabeth (1550- 1620), as we know about the
Elizabethan period, Elizabeth became a Queen of the United Kingdom and she has big power.
She has big roles to solve problems such as religious (the split between Catholics and
Protestants), peace with Scotland, the inaugural national governments, and reach achievements
such as the expansion of international trade, the power of the ocean, and the victories over the
Spanish Armada. In this period, Queen Elizabeth has big roles to make this period become the
Golden Era.
From my point of view, Royal Family has important influence to the state in health side
and welfare the nation. As we know that some members of the Royal Family often do charity
activities and also have established their own charities (The Prince's Trust, The Duke and
Duchess of Cambridge). The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is a Royal foundation that usually
do charity activities (cancer patient), helping children and young people to build their skills,
promoting the welfare and supporting the work of the Armed, etc. So, in my opinion there is no
other impressive than Royal Family, because they play roles to maintain and support their state
and nations.
