Why should you apply for the Who’s Who Award?


The Who’s Who Award Among Students in American Universities and Colleges is a
program intended to recognize individual academic excellence on a nation level. This
award is open to any student who fulfills the following requirements:
 College juniors, seniors, and graduate students with a minimum GPA of 2.7
 Criteria in selection include leadership in extra-curricular activities, scholarship
ability, citizenship and service, and potential for future success
As a benefit of receiving this award, students are entitle to lifetime use of Reference
service, maintained for the exclusive assistance of students seeking post graduate
employment, or fellowships, and, its free! There are no charges or fees.

How are the Winners chosen?


A selection committee from Geneseo will be assembled to evaluate the applications.
Letters will then be sent out informing the applicants of the committee’s decision. Those
students who have received this award in the past may NOT re-apply.

What do you need to do?

Please fill out the following application with necessary personal information. Answer the
questions to the best of your ability and complete all parts. Please note that the answers to
all questions MUST BE TYPED.

The following information is required. Applications missing any of this information will
not be considered. Applicants must sign the waiver at the end of the application form to
allow the Selection Committee to check his/her GPA (minimum 2.7) with the Dean's
office. Answers to all short answer questions must be TYPED. Please provide as much
information as possible and answer all parts of each question. You may include a letter
of recommendation, although it is not required. Applications are to be returned to
room 316 in the College Union, Monday, February 1, 2010 by 4 pm.
