When you are ready to get started in your journey with us at CCC,
we encourage you to take one or more of these simple steps:
• Fill out the Bulletin Tear-Out. By doing so, you enable us to know a little
more about you and how we can serve you.
• Visit our Guest Reception Room. Join us in Room 301, just west of the
auditorium entrance, if you are interested in receiving more information
about Calvary.
• Attend our CalvaryCONNECT classes. This is your starting point for
your involvement at Calvary. If you would like more information on our
CalvaryCONNECT classes, please see the bottom of the next page.
Some common questions about our services…and answers:
• About Communion…The Lord’s Supper (communion) is served in every
worship service. We practice open communion; we consider the Lord’s
Supper to be open to all believers in Christ.
• About Offering…If you are a first time guest, please do not feel obligated
to participate in this week’s offering. It is intended for members and regular
attenders.
• About the Nursery…Our nursery is provided for each worship service and
is available for newborns up to children two years of age.

It is once again time to order Virtue Packs. Are you interested in some
resources to help your 1st-6th grader reinforce what they are learning on
Sunday mornings? Each month’s Virtue Pack is designed to provide you parent
discipleship resources to go along with the curriculum we are using on Sunday
mornings. Check out the Plugged In Booth for more information, samples and

Adult Ministries

Contact the church office for small group information and opportunities.
Common Ground (our young adult ministry - 20 & 30 somethings), Sunday
nights from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Activity Center. Join us for a time of
fellowship as a large group, and life sharing in smaller groups! Nursery and
children’s programming are available through 6th grade.
Inner Circle, an adult study for all ages, Sunday nights from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
in the Auditorium. Childcare is available through 6th grade.
One Hope (support and encouragement for Military wives) meets Sunday
nights from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in room 301 (the guest reception room). One
Hope is utilizing the book “Hope for the Home Front: Winning the Emotional
and Spiritual Battles of a Military Wife” by Marshele Carter Waddell. Children’s
programming is available through 6th grade. If you are interested in this group

New to Calvary? Join us for CalvaryCONNECT
CalvaryCONNECT is offered to all new attenders at Calvary as a way for you
to get to know us and others in the church, as well as for us to get to know you.
CalvaryCONNECT is made of two parts and is offered on consecutive Sunday
evenings of each month from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in room 205 of the Activity Center.
The first week is “Pizza with the Preacher” and is an introduction to the life
and ministry of Calvary hosted by our Lead Minister, Scott Beckenhauer. As the
name implies, pizza is provided!
The second week is “Connecting to Calvary” and talks more specifically about
how you can take the next steps in your involvement with Calvary. Nursery and
children’s programming are available through 6th grade.
The next CalvaryCONNECT classes will be held December 6 & 13. Please sign

Sunday, November 22 during our regular morning services we will be Becoming a member of Calvary

Jingle Jam – A Walk Through Bethlehem Share with Staff/Leadership only
On December 20 and 21 the Children’s Ministry at Calvary will be hosting an
interactive family event. Families will walk through and experience the town Put on the Prayer Chain - Calvary’s phone
of Bethlehem similar to the time Jesus was born. We are in need of some and email prayer support network.

Open Door Mission
“Stuff a Truck” will be Sunday, November 29 from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. An
Open Door Mission truck will be in Calvary’s parking lot to collect clothes,
furniture, toys, nonperishable food, etc. Please tell family, friends, neighbors
and coworkers.
The Colors of Christmas
The Nebraska Christian College Gospel Choir is teaming up this year with
Jaci Velasquez and Salvador for their 2nd annual Colors of Christmas
concert. This concert is a great way to begin your Christmas celebration
with friends and family. Mark your calendars now for Saturday, December
12, 7:00 p.m. at the Omaha Civic Music Hall. Tickets are $22 or $18.50
and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com. For more information, or
