Health Forum on Diabetes

Our Association has been invited by Dashun Policy Research Centre to be the co-organiser of the
Health Forum on Diabetes on 1 March 2014.
The Health Forum aims to provide to the elderly and professionals relevant information and
specialists views with the objective of promoting general healthcare and awareness of diabetes. It
will be free admission for all participants, who will be professionals or elderly people.
At the Health Forum, the Dean of Faculty of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong
(CUHK), Prof. Francis Chan, (), will be our Guest of Honour and will deliver the
keynote address. Other Guest Speakers will include Dr. Kelvin Ho Kai-leung
(Specialist in Nephrology) , Prof Huang Xian-zhang (Vice-Chairman of Hong Kong
Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioners Association), Prof Ronald Ma Ching-wan
(Specialist in Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes), Dr. Chad Tse Cheuk-wa
(Specialist in General Surgery), and the former Dean of Faculty of Medicine at CUHK and former
Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Baptist Hospital, Prof Joseph Lee Chuen-kwun
