GOOD BUYS
Mangos: You are not going to
believe the tangy, juicy, sweet
goodness of the mangos that
are coming out on our trucks
now! They are some of the
best of the year and very good
prices, as well.
Raspberries: The price of
raspberries out of California
are down a bit even from last
week.
Grapes: Red grapes are hav-
ing a very good run with both
sugar and
texture but also good
prices. The good news now is
that the green grapes are fnal-
ly making their way down in
price. Were getng Pearletes
out of Mexico and California.

Strawberries: We are in the
peak season for local berries
and their sugar content and
delicate appearance wont be
available for much longer.
Enjoy these goodies now!
WATCH

Zucchini & Yellow Squash:
Prices contnue unusually high
because of limited quanttes
as the producton areas shif
from Florida to Georgia and
up the east coast. Yellow
squashis harder to get
than green so prices are
higher.
Green Peppers: The change
of growing areas is negatvely
afectng peppers and
cucumbers. Florida is mostly
fnished and Georgia is
behind.
Potatoes: Springtme
demand is driving Idaho
potato prices higher in an
actve market.
Green Beans: We are stll
not getng any relief in price
on bushel beans.
Italian, Curly Parsley &
Cilantro: Residual efects of
the heat last week are
impactng the price and
availability of high quality
herbs.
Apples: Storage apples are
almost depleted so everything
is tghter and higher.
Yellow Watermelons: We
have them, they are
delicious but price is high.
Bing Cherries: Gorgeous,
sweet and juicy but you will
have to pay the price.

KEEP IN MIND
Strawberries: With the heat
stroke over in California, there is
now plenty of fruit coming to
market with good quality. Stem
StrawberriesEverybody loves
long-stem berries for graduatons
so we have plenty in stock!
Stone Fruit: Prices on peaches,
nectarines, red and black plums,
apricots, black velvet apricots and
pluots were expected to drop
precipitously this week but high
demand in chain groceries kept
the prices higher. Quality is nice,
though.
Limes: Prices have come down
signifcantly from their recent
highs and now fnally back to
normal levels.
Lemons & Oranges: Prices are
up a bit, but nothing drastc.
Oranges are all valencias with
excellent quality and all sizes
available.
Blackberries: These berries out
of Mexico are excellent quality
and the price remains constant.
Watermelons: Now that
summer is here everyone wants
watermelons and the price is up.
Cantaloupe & Honeydews:
Market is actve in transiton.

Tomatoes: We are stll
getng really nice
tomatoes out of Florida now
with very good
prices.
Leafy Items: The heat in the
west last week
accelerated the
maturaton process for all
letuce and salad items. Large
volumes are coming to market
quickly causing growers to
lower the
prices.
Spring Mix, Arugula,
Romaine & Iceberg: None
of these items are as tght as
last week and prices are trend-
ing down fast.
Avocados: Heat loving, these
beautes are ripe and ready
with prices down.
Jalapenos: Prices are HOT!

Asparagus: Local asparagus
are here in good quanttes
now from the Eastern Shore at
beter prices.
Spring Mix, Bright Lights
Swiss Chard, Tuscan Kale,
Rhubarb, & Young Kale
