1. Understand the syllabus and question pattern. 2. Digest the topic from a single source (classnotes, textbook, guidebook, magazines). 3. Revision and writing practice.
N.B.- Single source for a particular topic is necessary in order to retain that topic in the long term memory. Choice of source depends on i) how much of that portion can be vomited after reading and ii) the time in hand for preparation. One must be able to reproduce all the topic of the Subject (Paper) from beginning to end without any break. This can be achieve through repeated revision. Then, prepare for those questions that are found to be complicated and difficult.
