Mens Ministry Off to a Good Start Acts 2 Acts 2:42-47 They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous sign were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and good, they have to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
What a picture of the church as God intends: learning, fellowshipping, sharing communion, and praying!! The simplicity of the Gospel in a world filled with too much complication makes the challenges difficult. But at the end of the day when we follow the pattern laid down in Acts 2 there are miracles, wonders, glad hearts, the favor of people, and praise to our God! It is on my heart to take aim at June 8, 2014 as we celebrate with other Christians across the world the birth of the church. It had been 50 days since Jesus was resurrected 10 days since he ascended to the right hand of the Father the Holy Spirit came down on the apostles and the others gathered in the upper room in Jerusalem. Peter preached people came into a life-saving relationship with Jesus Christ a movement was started and blessed by God for over 2,000 years! I invite you to prepare your heart seek God out in his Word pray for revival expect the time to come to be a great time in the life and witness of Faith Christian Church. Pastor Reid Happy Happy Happy!

Beginning June 1, 2014 we will mail out bulletins to those who are absent two Sundays in a row. If you have questions contact the CLT Chairperson, Melissa Blanchard (336-447-4364) The prayer list is now being updated weekly to include concerns both in and connected to the congregation.
