In 200(, 'luor 2aniels partnered )ith "B'I to assist financially needy #ut
acadeically deser!ing 'ilipino students in o#taining %uality education
through the scholarship progra. , "eorandu of ,greeent ("9,)
#et)een the 'oundation and 'luor 2aniels )as forally signed during
the sae year. 1he scholarship progra for the residents of "untinlupa,
ParaBa%ue and /as PiBas )as officially ipleented in school year
200(-2002. 'luor 2aniels directly adinistered the said progra, )hile
the 'oundation anaged the donation and addressed the financial
re%uireents of the 'luor 2aniels for the scholarship progra #y
esta#lishing a 1rust 'und through the "etro#ank 1rust Banking ?roup.
1he partnership )as rene)ed in &. 200*-200C and another #atch of *
>ngineering students )ere granted scholarships.
In "arch 200D, the officials of the 'oundation and 'luor Inc. re!ie)ed the
scholarship progra ipleented 6 years ago and reali+ed the !alue of
the scholarship progra #eing gi!en to less pri!ileged #ut acadeically
deser!ing students. Both parties discussed the possi#ility of rene)ing
the partnership )here the 'oundation )ill #e ore in!ol!ed in the
adinistration of the progra.
