Activation of
Extended cell feature (Double TS extended cell)
This is to describe extended cell feature activation on cell, some precautions, and
related parameters needed to be changed and case where we can apply this feature
!" This feature can be applied on concentric cells only, not possible to apply it on
normal cells
#" This feature is not possible to be applied on $ybrid concentric cells (%&&'!(&&
concentric cells), but it)s applied on (concentric cell %&& only, or concentric
cell !(&& only)
*" So in general this feature can be applied only on concentric %&& only, or
concentric !(&& only
+" All T,-s in the concentric cell should be set as .underlaid/ in
SET
GTRXIUO.
In case of Swap projects:
0n case of swap pro1ects from another vendor to $uawei e2uipments, the other
vendor such as Ericsson used to apply this feature on normal cells, not
concentric
And the customer in this case insist on apply the extended cell feature on this
normal cell
So $uawei need to convert the normal swapped cell, to concentric (%&& only
or !(&& only)
Doing this action we will 3eep all T,-s on this as .underlaid T,-/
