COURSE DESCRIPTION

Phi l i ppi nes and other rel ated statutes. It covers the l egal provi si ons on the nature, cl assi fi cati on, effects and modes of exti ngui shment of
obl i gati ons. It al so i ncl udes a di scussi on of contracts, thei r nature, effects, form and interpretation.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course, the students should be able to:

1. Gain complete understanding of the basic legal concepts and principles that apply to obligations and contracts.
2. Apply the appropriate legal provision in specific cases typical of everyday life and in certain situations or business transactions.
3. Prepare, analyze, evaluate and present case studies.
4. Demonstrate the value of justice and fairness as the bases of laws affecting individuals and business activities.
