ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED
A. PRESENTATION OF THE RESULTS OF THE COMMUNITY
NUTRITIONAL ASSESSMENT (CNA) AND PLANNING
WORKSHOP WITH BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
The presentation of the results of CNA and planning workshop with the BDC
aimed to validate the current nutrition situation of the barangay and present the
formulated nutrition programs and activities to address the barangay nutrition concerns.

,ast November -!. -/!0. the results of the Community Nutritional Assessment
2CNA3 and a planning workshop were presented and validated to the members of the
Barangay Development Council 2BDC3. 4t was conducted at the Barangay Hall of
Barangay Aplaya. $ila. ,aguna. The program started at 05// $6 and ended at around

750/ $6. 6embers of the Barangay Development Council and the faculty&in&charge
attended the meeting. However. the barangay captain was not around as well as the
Barangay Nutrition 8cholar 2BN83 and Barangay Health 9orkers 2BH9s3. A separate
meeting with them was scheduled on the ne(t day. The said activity was led by the
practicumers assigned in the barangay.

CNA. The results were then presented

by the presentation of the suggested nutrition pro;ects and activities. The BDC approved
the suggested nine pro;ects. Additional two pro;ects from the barangay councilors were
also included in the final plan 2Appendi( A3.

8ince this activity was done during the first week of the practicumers in the
barangay. they were not familiar with the members of the BDC. There was a scheduled
BDC meeting last November -/. -/!0 which was attended by the former members of the
BDC and - members from the upcoming one. The first scheduled meeting was not
finished because the former members suggested to schedule and conduct another meeting
with the new set of barangay officials which was done on the ne(t day. During the
meeting on November -!. -/!0. there were some activities that cannot be discussed and
elaborated since the needed collaborators were the BN8 and BH9 who were not around
in the meeting.
The practicumers presented the formulated activities and programs to the
Barangay Captain in a different schedule and it was conducted in his house. A separate

meeting was also done with the Barangay Nutrition 8cholar and the president of the
Barangay Health 9orkers. This was done to assure that the whole BDC members will
support the practicumers in the implementation of the programs and activities.

The practicumers should clarify first with the Barangay Captain regarding the
schedule and invitation to the BDC members. The goals of the activity should also be
e(plained well to the Barangay Captain. 4t should also be assured that the validation of
the nutrition situation of the barangay and the formulated programs and activities were
presented to all members of the Barangay Development Council.

B. WASTONG TIMBANG4 SA PAGKAING SAPAT MAKAKAMTAN5
Wastong Timbang, sa Pagkaing Sapat Makakamtan was an integration of feeding
program in which new recipes was introduced. Nutrition education program was
incorporated which emphasize proper food choices. This program aimed to develop and
prepare a new recipe for the feeding program and to educate the preschool children
about proper food choices.

Two days prior to the activity. the practicumers coordinated with the BN8 regarding the
schedule and venue of the activity. The practicumers also requested the feeding program to
be center-based instead of dry rationing in order to eecute the nutrition education
program planned for the participants. The resources that the BN8 and BDC can provide were
also identified. These include the transportation. venue. manpower and consumable supplies
2e.g.6anna rice. other ingredients. and disposable utensils and cups. The participants were then
identified and an invitation to the participants was done right after the meeting.

4t was agreed by the practicumers and the BN8 to conduct the feeding program in
a center&based form. However. not everybody in the list given by the BN8 was able to
attend since most of them are students. Those who were not reached by the center-based
feeding received their daily food supply still through dry ration.
Out of 16 participants, 11 were
aged 2 to 5 and the last five were aged 6
to 11. The nutrition education strategy
for the day was storytelling using a large
colored and illustrated childrens boo.
This was used since the participants
belong to wide range of ages !2-12
years". #$parting i$ages, actions and
sounds would do to co$pensate the age
gaps. %fter the story telling co$es ne&t
the feeding. The '() served *inataang
Totong, a sweet !+anna" rice and $ung beans dish, and bread. Our tea$ brought ,uice
for the children.
Then, for the last activity which also served as a review or recap for the
participants, -uestionnaires !%ppendi& ." were distributed to the children. The
-uestionnaires contained i$ages of different nutritious and non-nutritious foods and the
participants are to identify and put circle on the nutritious foods. Twelve participants
were able to get perfect scores. The re$aining four were not able to answer the post-test
since they cannot still write and answer the -uestionnaires. The $others helped their
children in answering the -uestionnaires. #n the end, the $ost outstanding girl and boy
were awarded with crowns as -ueen and ing !in relation with the story told"
respectively. %fter the progra$, the other upco$ing progra$s were announced to have
the $others who attended with their children notified hoping for easier invitations in the

The nutrition education $aterials that can be used for the feeding progra$ were
endorsed to the '(). This includes the boo that was used for storytelling as well as
videos and $usic about proper food choices. The group had also given a cooboo
co$prising of rice-based recipes since there had been a te$porary disappearance of
.entury Tuna supply and only +anna 0ice was provided.

The program aimed to introduce new recipes of Century Tuna for the feeding program.
#owever$ during the duration of %ommunity Nutrition &ield 'ractice$ %entury Tuna
temporarily stopped providing supplies to the barangay and gave them to (olanda
victims instead. )ecause of this$ for the mean time$ the practicumers did not insist on
changing the regular recipes mainly using the *anna +ice that the )N, had been using
since the tuna rations had stopped. The practicumers learned to be fle(ibleA adapting to the
communityBs situation. learning about their limitations and potentials. utili:ing resources and
being resourceful.
1uring the actual i$ple$entation, $ost of the children were ,ust watching. (one
would answer the story tellers -uestions unless the $others around would assist the$.
This was $ainly because they were still too young or were ,ust shy to spea. The group
learned to ad,ust for the audience2 eeping the energy up3 catching and $aintaining their
attention3 involving the children as $uch as possible. %lso, the activity !-uestionnaires"
was not appropriate for the age of so$e of the participants. #n the end, 12 out of 16 were
able to answer the -uestionnaires.
Another challenge was the call to continue the program in a center&based manner.
The problem was with the schedule of the BN8 and the schedule of the practicumersB
other activities. During the end of the year. the BN8 was very busy with her reports.
gatherings and also with her health condition. The group learned here to ad;ust and
negotiate to be able to meet half way with the BN8.

The BN8 needed a space as feeding area. However. there had been a problem
regarding the coordination with the BDC. The group learned that the BN8 works for her
love to the community. 8he had been giving more than what she had been receiving.
Community work really re>uires one to have a heart for the peopleA a selfless one indeed.

or the unresponsive audience. it is recommended that the profile of the
participants should be gathered before deciding what nutrition education strategy and
activity is to be used to find a better match for the participants.
8ince some political issues were involved. the practicumers should bridge the gap
in between the officials by involving them into the activities. especially with the
preparations.

Bulati ay Puksain, si Bulilit ay Pasiglahin is a seminar about the importance of
deworming. 4ts ob;ective was to educate the mothers of not dewormed preschool children
on the advantages and disadvantages of deworming on their children.

with the president of the BH9 was done to clarify the specific topics to be discussed on
the seminar and invitation of the participants. Booklets containing information about
deworming was made by the practicumers and were then distributed to the participants. a
day before the seminar. The booklets also served as the invitations to the participants.

The seminar proper started at e(actly -5!1 $6. The target audience. ten mothers
of not dewormed preschool children from different puroks. was met. The program was
started with a prayer followed by opening remarks of ,orelane C. %amire:. the student
head of the activity. The first activity was done in the form of a game which was C$ass
the 6essageD. The participants were divided into - groups. )ach group was given three
messages about deworming. The group with the nearest answer to the original message
was declared as the winner. 4t was then followed by the lecture of the resource speaker.
6rs. *osefina A. 8aber. The advantages and disadvantages of deworming were discussed.
6isbeliefs about deworming were also discussed by the resource speaker. After the
lecture. $rofessor Ana ,orraine D. Dela +ega talked and added some points to remember
about deworming. Then. a video clip which summari:es the lecture was shown. The last
activity was done in the form of a game. The game involved >uestions about lecture
needed to be answered by the groups. This is to identify if the participants have really
learned from the lecture. However. results have shown that the participants were more
concerned of winning the game rather than answering the >uestions correctly. The first
group got a perfect score while the other group had - mistakes out of 0 >uestions. After
the activity. awarding of the certificates was done.

The continuity of the pro;ect implementation was endorsed to 6rs. *osefina A.
8aber. A seminar about deworming was advised to be conducted every after the
deworming process which is done twice a year.

Before the seminar proper. lecture handout was given to the resource speaker to
serve as her guide for the discussion. However. during the seminar proper. the topics
discussed were not concise. The practicumers were not able to give the resource speaker
specific topics.
The practicumers learned that the specific topics should be clarified with the
resource speaker so that in the seminar proper. there will be a smooth flow of the
discussion instead of many topics that can be easily forgotten by the participants. Also.
several mothers in Barangay Aplaya have misbeliefs about deworming that should be
corrected through different programs such as seminars.

At least a day before the activity. the specific topics to be discussed should be
clarified to the resource speaker. Also. the practicumers should also listen to the lecture to
identify if there are missing topics and be ready to add information. The practicumers
should also conduct research and read some articles about the topic that can be added
during the seminar.

Sa Tamang Pagpili ng Pagkain at Kalinisan, Sakit ay Maiiwasan is a two&day
fun and interactive learning activity focusing on proper food choices and hygiene. 4ts

The group invited the target participants two days before the event. During our
house&to&house invitation. the group encountered many children and parents who were
interested to ;oin their children in the activity. so the group decided to ad;ust their
preparation and make it possible to accommodate 0/ children.

DAY :
During the first day of the
activity. -# children attended. Before
the activity proper. an aerobic e(ercise
headed by the children was done. $re&
test was given to the children through
drawing and coloring game. They draw
and colored the food items they ate on
their breakfast on a blank large plate.
The three basic food groups and food
plate were discussed. There also had a
story telling on proper food choices.
6ini food plate bookmarks were given as souvenirs in the food choices activity. 6ini
colorful food plates were also given to the participants for their take home assignment
which served as their post&test whether they learn on the activity. The assignments were
collected on the ne(t day and the practicumers found out that the children have improved
their knowledge on proper food choices. Their drawings on the food plate assignment

reflect their meal eaten last night. All of them have drawn vegetables. Also. one of the
caregivers of the children told us that her granddaughter does not eat vegetables before.
but after the activity. the child was able to eat vegetables right after the mental feeding
program on proper food choices.
DAY 2
'n the second day of the activity. 0! children attended. The children had a
physical e(ercise or warm&up before the activity proper. The activity was about proper
hygiene. $re&test was done through demonstration of how they used to wash their hands.
take a bath. and brush their teeth. Esing soap and pale of water. the practicumers
demonstrated the steps of proper hand washing. 9hile on the demonstration of taking a
bath and tooth brushing. mock&up models were used. +ideo clips on proper tooth
brushing. hand washing and taking a bath were also shown. The post&test was done
through return demonstration of the participants. They performed well on their return
demonstration. Toothbrushes were given during the proper hygiene activity as souvenirs.
Certificates for the participants with perfect attendance were given.

8ince the children were always in the residence area of the group. the
practicumers had the chance to review and check if the food choices of the children had
improved through asking what they have eaten for their meals. Also. the practicumers
asked the children to demonstrate proper hand washing every time they were with them.
During the closing ceremony of the group. the nutrition educational materials including
the mock up models were endorsed to the BN8

During the activity proper. especially on the second day. heavy rain fell. The
participants went late because they thought that the activity was postponed. However.
they still came and the number of the participants increased on the second day.
The group had a problem on the venue on the activity proper. The activity was
supposed to be on the covered court of the barangay. however. the sound system was not
functioning and the rainfall was heavy. 4nstead. the health center was used so that the
participants can still hear the discussion. The uncontrolled noise has also become a
problem since the practicumers do not have sound system.
The group learned that all things needed for the activity proper should be prepared
ahead so that ad;ustments can be done easily. Also. the group reali:ed the importance of
having contingency plans.

uncontrollable circumstances. like heavy rainfall. it is recommended to have an
alternative venue.

Sa Pamilyang Planado, Nutrisyon ay SiguradoD is an interactive seminar that
deals with effective family planning methods. This activity aimed to educate individuals
belonging to the childbearing age about family planning.

Days prior to the event. the group coordinated with the BH9 to get referral on the
resource speaker. The BH9 referred 6rs. ,eovy Divinagracia of the %HE. The schedule
was then finali:ed based on the availability of the resource speaker. 8pecific topics to be
discussed were also e(plained and clarified to the resource speaker. The group then
prepared the needed materials such as the certificates. snacks. tokens and props for the
games. A day before the activity. participants were invited with the help of the barangay
health workers.

which nine of them were in the

led by *ehn ,ouise 6atsushita and followed by an introduction about the activity. The
participants were divided into two groups. Then. a game was done in which there were
two >uestions given to each group. The >uestions were to be
identified if true or false. However. the result was forfeited since there were mistakes
with the >uestions given. The activity was the followed by the lecture discussion of the
resource speaker. The resource speaker discussed the different effective family planning
methods and shared her knowledge about the topics. The speaker asked the participants if
they were using specific planning method. 4t resulted that one of them is using condom.
five of there are using 4ED. five of them are using pills. three of them had undergone
tube ligation and seven of them do not use any family planning method. The resource
person also clarified misbeliefs about family planning methods. After the talk of the
speaker. snacks were distributed to the participants while awarding the certificate to the
participant and to the participants.

The resource speaker suggested that mothers could visit the %HE to avail of
contraceptives. The group talked to mothers who attended the seminar to get their
feedback. 4t was found out that most of the participants were not aware of the family
planning methods that were discussed. The group did not have endorsement of this
program since the barangay were already conducting family planning seminar.

The group was challenged with the coordination with the resource speaker from
the %HE because of the conflict with their schedule. During the implementation. there
was a delay in the program because the participants arrived late. The group learned that
participants should be reminded at least 0/ minutes before the program starts. $reparation
of the venue should also be done at least an hour before the program proper.

9ith regards to the problem of coordinating with the resource person. the group
recommends constant communication with resource speaker. 8trict compliance with the
schedule should also be followed in order to avoid delay in the program. Directory of the
participants would also help to contact them. $roper lighting of the venue should also be
checked before the event. 9ith this. the protocol that the group should be at the venue an
hour before the event should be followed.

dance. The activity aimed to encourage the adolescents and adults of the barangay to
engage in healthy lifestyle activities like Gumba.

9ith the help of Hon. Herminia Alarcos. the practicumers coordinated with the
Gumba instructor. The instructor is well known in the barangay and was a former
resident. so he was considered for easier coordination in the future. 8ound system was
borrowed from Hon. $anchito ,acadin. Two days before the event. the practicumers had
a house&to&house invitation to the participants and were then reminded a day before the
event.

The venue was supposed to be in front
of the barangay hall. but unfortunately the
venue had to change because of the sudden rain
fall. The instructor arrived on time. but the
participants did not. 8o the class was moved in
the afternoon. A total of " mothers participated

Hon. Alarcos and some of the participants. another session with the instructor was held.

A day after the activity. Hon. Herminia Alarcos in coordination with the instructor
lead to have a Gumba class again together with the other mothers of the community. The
implementation of the Gumba Class. however. was endorsed to Hon. *ennette +iclar.
Councilor on Health because Hon. Alarcos is to leave the country for = months and Hon.

,ooking for an instructor became a problem to the group. The municipal Gumba
instructor could not be found whenever the group would go to the municipal office. 4n the
end. a known instructor around the barangay was found and was hired with the help of
the barangay health councilor. The group learned that for the activities that were being
prepared and e(ecuted in the barangay. it would be better to repeatedly notify andHor
remind the Barangay Development Council officials that would be involved.
Another identified problem for this activity was the venue. The venue was
supposed to be in front of the barangay hall. but unfortunately it had to be changed
because of the sudden rain fall. 4n addition to this. the class was moved in the afternoon
because the participants did not arrive in the morning. The initial venue for the afternoon
session was the barangay covered court. However the instructor insisted to transfer inside
the health center. There were no light bulbs inside. but he still insisted to do so. 4n the
end. it was agreed to hold the class inside for the comfort of everybody. rom this. the
group had learned to ad;ust to uncontrollable events such as weather changes. and to be
prepared all the time. The group also learned to be careful with scheduling of activities.

9ith regards to the problem of coordinating with the resource person. it is

recommended to prioriti:e the personnel who have e(pertise in teaching Gumba. 4f ever
they are difficult to find. one may ask someone from the local government office to
access help for finding a resource person.

participants were reminded at least 0/ minutes before the program starts or a te(t
message can be sent to the participants. 9ith this. a directory of the participants is
recommended to be obtained. About the lack of lighting in the roomHvenue. it is advised

event due to lack of time and the participants have other commitments. Awarding of the
winners was done and for the last part of the event. the souvenirs were distributed in
which they have to write and put their pledge as leaders of the barangay.

wide for the activity.

principal would not be around during the week of the eventBs implementation. As a
preparation. the practicumers planned for a program in which grade 7 to grade = students
were involved. A parol making contest which aimed to promote recycling was also
planned. 6echanics of the contest was carefully planned and prepared. 4n coordination
with the teachers. all grades 7 to grade = students were divided and grouped into !/. )ach
group was to make a parol out of recycled materials. A stage play was also planned and

students did not attend the classes. Thus. the practicumers re>uested the teachers if they
could conduct the post&test for the ne(t day. 8ince it was the last day of the practicumers
in the Barangay for the year. the answer sheets were given back to the group on *anuary.
The teachers were also re>uested to discuss proper garbage disposal particularly the
identification of biodegradable and non&biodegradable trashes as well as the possible
conse>uences of improper garbage disposal.
The same set of >uestions with the pre&test was used for the post&test. There is a
total of !-" students who answered the post&test. And out of !-" students. !!# of them
were able to get a passing score which is e>uivalent to "!K. The percentage of passers
was the same with the pre&test. However. -!K of them got a perfect score which is !"K
higher than that of the pre&test.

The practicumers were challenged in scheduling the practice of the characters for
the stage play since they still have their regular class. 9ith this. proper communication
with the teacher was done and it was re>uested for the students involved to be e(cused in
their classes. There was also a difficulty in coordinating with the teachers since they also
have visitors during the day of the program proper. During the program proper. there
were technical problems which caused the delay of the program. As a result. the audience
waited so long for the start of the program.

participants and attached to it was the costing of the ingredients. The ob;ective was to
determine if the recipes would comply with the mechanics of the cooking contest. All
pairs were able to submit their recipes that comply with the cooking contest mechanics.

noticeable in the barangay and to acknowledge participants who ;oined the cooking

Nutrisyon and borrowed the $abasa sa Nutrisyon ?it from the 6unicipal Nutritional
Action 'fficer of $ila. ,aguna. The group brought home the nutri&guide and handbook to
prepare and review the lessons to be discussed during the Christmas break.
The group has solicited !!/ pieces of Tiger Biscuit which were used as snacks for
the whole week of Pabasa sa NutrisyonD. 8ince the Pabasa ?itD has a complete set of
materials for the fun learning activities. minimal preparation for the materials needed was
done.

program. 6a. Dara Hannah Harina. the student head of the activity. was accompanied by
the BN8 to remind the mothers of the C$abasaD later in the afternoon.

Thirteen mothers were oriented about the Pabasa sa Nutrisyon. The group
discussed the details of the activity. The participants were motivated to complete their
attendance by discussing the details of the graduation day including the program and
awards they may get.
After the orientation. the mothers were given the pre&test. 'nly 0!K or 7 out of
!0 of them got a passing score 2!#&0/3. The group guided a mother who is not capable of
reading and writing because she also wanted to learn.
The first session of Pabasa sa Nutrisyon was started after the pre&test. since it was
only an introduction and was done for ;ust a short period of time. The session was all
about the three basic food groups and balanced diet. The mothers were still shy to raise
their hands and answer the >uestions since they were still in the phase of ad;ustment. un
learning activity entitled C6arket @ame !D was played by the mothers. The group had
observed that the mothers were able to apply the lessons discussed. However. there were
still some points in which they had confusions especially with the groupings of foods into
@o. @low and @row. 9ith this. the $abasa leader conducted a recap of the lesson and
reviewed the game.
DAY 2
or the second day of Pabasa sa Nutrisyon, the group had decided to move the

The topics discussed were about micronutrients particularly 4ron and 4odine.
8pecific points were emphasi:ed to avoid confusions between the two micronutrients.
And to test if they had learned. a game was done and this was entitled CABC gameD for
the first topic and C$adamihanD for the second one.
The group had observed that the mothers still had confusions between iron and
iodine since some of the symptoms were interchanged for the two. A recap was made
after the game to clarify the confusions noted.
DAY 7
The session was started with a review of the previous discussion form the last
session. Then the resource speaker. 6rs. *osefina 8aber was introduced. The resource
speaker discussed the topic of breastfeeding. After the talk of the resource speaker. the
Pabasa leader continued the session. After the session. the game master led the
C$adamihanD game. The third group got !1 points and led the scoreboard. After the
game. the discussion on the nutritional needs of the family was continued. The facilitator
discussed the nutritional re>uirements from different life stages. After the discussion. the
game master led the ABC game 4. The third group got !1 points and still led the
scoreboard. @iving the CNanay of the DayD award to Nanay 4rene ended the day. 8nacks
were also distributed.
DAY C
+enue set up. 'fficer of the Day assignment. attendance and preparation of
materials were done before starting the $abasa session. Epon the beginning. the
participants were reviewed about the lessons from sessions - and 0. Then. the lessons
were continued to be discussed. Afterwards. a game called Nutri $u::le was played. The
group with the highest score was granted the highest amount of points. or the ne(t
session. the mothers were reviewed about the lessons on the micronutrients. 4t was the
followed by the discussion of the macronutrients. Carbohydrates. $rotein and ats. $)6
was also introduced and was made to be understood by the participants. 9ays on how to

prevent andHor deal with $)6 were also discussed among the mothers. After the lesson.
the mothers played Bring 6e as their activity. The group with the highest score was able
to get the highest amount of points.
DAY 8
Epon the beginning of session #. home gardening and animal raising. the mothers
were reviewed about all the previous lessons for their post&test. Afterwards. the
discussions on home gardening and the e(isting agricultural pro;ects in the barangay were
facilitated by Hon. eli( ,. Alba. At the end of his lesson. a certificate of appreciation
was awarded to the speaker. Additional details and topics such as 6agic 8>uare
@ardening. raising livestock. food fortification. 8angkap $inoy and Diamond 8eals and
how these help address micronutrient needs were discussed among the participants. Also.
a short discussion on the health and nutrition programs of the barangay was conducted to
increase the awareness of the participants about what they can access from the barangay.
Then the ninth sessionBs discussion. meal planning. food selection. nutrient conservation
and food preservation. was facilitated. Afterwards. 6arket @ame - was played by the
mothers. Then they were given time to rest and prepare for the post&test. After a few
minutes. the participants took their post&tests and the papers were checked right after.
%esults had shown that F out of !/ mothers got a passing score. The highest score
identified was -F out of 0/ items. Nevertheless. while the papers were being checked. the
CNanay of the DayD ribbon was awarded to one of the participants. The top scorer was
announced. 6arking the end of the sessions to be e(ecuted by the facilitators. the
participants were congratulated and were asked to prepare for their graduation ceremony
for the ne(t day.

already conducted Pabasa sa Nutrisyon before. there was no graduation day conducted.

as this will help to motivate the participation of the mothers.

Although the group had always reminded the mothers that the activity will start at
-pm. they still came late. 8ome of them also brought their children in the session which
made it hard for the group to control the participants.
During the graduation day. there had been a delay in the program. The program
started one hour late because of technical problems. 9ith this. the mothers were
re>uesting to move the program in the afternoon since they still need to cook for the
lunch of their family.

An earlier call time may be set to avoid delay in the program. The group also
recommends having a CMaya of the dayD from the team to facilitate the children to avoid
getting the attention of their mothers during the discussion. 8ound system and a dry run
of the program for graduation day are advised to be conducted at least a day before the

The closing ceremony served as the last activity conducted by the practicumers in
the community. The activity aimed to show the BDC and the people of the community
how the pro;ects and activities were successfully implemented in the community. Also.

The program was started with a prayer. An intermission number was given by the
children of Barangay Aplaya. Then. it was followed by the awarding of the
memorandums of agreement. A message was then given by 6s. Ana ,orrain e Dela +ega
and then it proceeded to the awarding of certificate of completion to the practicumers.
And as a surprise. the BDC also gave certicates to the group members. The practicumers
also gave the certificates for the BDC members and to all people who had helped for the
success of the whole phase of their practicum.

difficulties were also e(perienced while using the sound system which has affected the

'n the second week of CN$. the group was able to find good and already tested
T&shirt $rinting 8hop at E$,B. The printing shop offered $ !!/ for each shirt. inclusive
of shirt in any color and si:e. and printing. The group had the money 21/K of the total
price3 for the downpayment of !/1 pieces of shirts. However. on the day that the group
should pay the downpayment. the staff of the printing shop refused our payment because
he wanted to make the downpament F/K of the total price. so we ;ust went back on the
other day to complete first the F/K payment which is $ #./#1.//.
4t was a blessing in disguise that the staff did not accept our 1/K payment
because when we returned to the printing shop. it was already closed for good because
they were forced to leave the space for not paying their three years rent. 9e immediately
look for another printing shop at ,os BaIos and 8ta. Cru:.
The group found a good printing shop at 8ta. Cru:A however. their offered price
depends on the color and si:e of shirt. Although its price is really larger than the first.the
group immediately made orders to them to not disappoint the customers and also.

The group recommends having alternative printing shops to make the designed t&
shirts. Also. the customers are also needed to be reminded regarding the payment at least
a day before the deadline of the payment.
