I am a creative, committed and ambitious individual with a huge passion for the media industry. I have
gained a huge amount of experience over the years, which has provided me with the confidence to
work as part of a team, prioritise my workload and adhere to strict deadlines. I am pro-active and use
my initiative in order to get things done more efficiently. I hope to put everything I have learnt in to
practice in my future career.

Education

Sept 2011-June 2014 - BA Honours in International Relations with Communications & Society with
Spanish, Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, UK (Predicted: 2:1) Plus: NTSU Skills Award,
ILM Management and Leadership NVQ, NTU Acceler8 Employability Award, Awarded 3 titles at the
2012 NTSU Awards and 1 title at the 2013 NTSU Awards.

A-Levels include: BBB English Language, Sociology and Media Studies

Experience

April 2012 Present - Editor-in-Chief of Platform Magazine
In charge of NTSUs official publication (online & print), I manage a team of 26 and work alongside
the Students Union. Skills include: publishing, editorial work, branding, taking meetings, student
focus groups, administration work, communication, advertising, event management, promotions,
production, social media networking and distribution. Platform publishes six monthly, 64pp magazines
per year, with a 2000 copy print run, distributing across tri-campus. Platform Magazine, Nottingham
Trent Students Union, Nottingham

April 2011- Present Student Publication Association Events Officer for the SPA institution and
award ceremony. I was taken on as a regional executive officer to oversee the communications between
university publications and to oversee the management of the event: SPANC 2014.




March 2014 Present The National Student News and Travel Writer completing an internship
with TNS in June 2014.

June 2011- Present - Student Brand Manager CoppaFeel! - I manage social media, finances,
campaigning and event management over the academic year. In charge for 12 volunteers aged 18-22.

February 2013 December 2013 - Social Media Press Officer - Officer for the Trent Media stations
at Varsity Fixtures in the press box. Controlling and over-seeing all social media platforms for the

Sept 2012 October 2013 - Freshers Activities Representative Nottingham Trent Students Union,
Nottingham

February 2013 April 2013 - PR and Editorial Intern Placement - Write press releases, organise
events, speak to external clients, meet with clients and represent the company, whilst working closely
with my managers. The internship was a 12 week placement around my university studies. Clip

Sept 2012- June 2013 - NTSU Clifton Entertainments Officer - I was part of a committee that arranged
events for the SU, including organising events in hubs with up to 2000 capacity. Nottingham Trent

February 2012- August 2013 - Branding Designer - Designing the branding for a multitude of
marketing and promotional material ensuring brand continuity. Use of Adobe Software and
