EXT.FOREST LIMBO. DAY
FEMALE VOICE
Beware those who wander in the
pathless wood.
DION wakes on the forest floor. He is a man in his twenties
and dressed in white linen. He wanders the forest, unsure of
what he is seeking, he is lead only by instinct. He stumbles
across a small hand mirror on the ground. Intrigued, he
picks it up. as he looks at his reflection, a man can be
seen behind him. The LOST SOUL turns and walks away, DION
follows.
DION
Hey, wait up!
The LOST SOUL doesnt seem to hear him but stops and sits on
the ground. He begins rocking back and forth. As DION
catches up to him, he can be heard muttering.
LOST SOUL
There is no time. There is no time.
DION gazes curiously at him but is interrupted by a strange
sound somewhere else in the forest. He looks around and
hears an eerie whisper on the wind.
EERIE VOICE
Wayfarer.
DION looks back at the LOST SOUL, is is rocking back and
forth. DION turns and looks into the forest, he sees a dark
figure moves in the distance, between the trees. He goes
after them.
The dark figure is nowhere to be seen. DION stops and hears
a ticking sound and some strange chanting. He looks down and
sees on the ground a small watch attached to a gold chain.
DION is lured by the object, he picks it up and place it
around his neck. He is absorbed by white.
FEMALE VOICE
What you are looking for, cant be
found.
INT. SHOP. DAY.
DION stares at his reflection in a shop window. He enters
the shop, which has rows of clothes. He begins to browse
them. A MAN is in the shop, he stands on the other side of
the clothes rack to DION. The MAN notices the watch around
DIONS neck and stares at him. DION notices his gaze.

MAN
Do you have the time?
DION
No...sorry.
MAN
Well thats a nice watch around
your neck, is it just for show?
A dark figure can be seen behind DION.
DION
Its broken actually.
MAN
Oh, I could take a look at it for
you?
DION holds his watch around his neck, protectively. The
figure has moved closer. The eerie whisper returns.
DION
No. Thank You. I like it how it is.
We see DION and the MAN through the shop door, DION turns
and leaves the shop, the figure follows. DION walks down the
street, the figure stays behind him. He turns down another
street and he sees a pedestrian walking ahead of him, DION
notices as the person morphs into a black figure. He looks
shocked and stops, just as the figure following him grabs
him from behind. Cut black and a shot of a waning moon.
FEMALE VOICE
There is no other way to break the
cycle.
EXT. CAVE / HILLSIDE. DAY
DION is inside a small cave, light glares in from the
entrance a woman can bee seen as he steps out into the
light. He is beside a hill.
SEER
Do not be afraid.
DION looks up and sees a tree on the hill above him, there
is a woman in a long robe next to it. She seems to be
staring at him but he cannot see her face. DION goes up to
meet her.

SEER
Mad men hide themselves in shadows
to conceal their true intentions.
But I can see them from afar. They
are truly blind.
DION
How did I get here? I was on a
street, but then everything went
black.
SEER
I may be blind but I know what
hangs around your neck.
DION
My watch. What about it?
SEER
It is what they seek. It is why you
are here. Do you remember finding
it?
DION
It is a family heirloom. Ive
always had it.
SEER
Think back, the whispers drove you
toward it, that is what sealed your
fate. They want your blood DION,
not the blood of a man but the
blood of a god.
DION
But I am no god.
The SEER smiles.
SEER
They have trapped you between life
and death. Doomed to be a lost soul
for eternity unless you can break
out of the cycle.
DION
How do I do that?
SEER
Youll have to die, that is where
the cycle begins and that is where
you must break free.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 4.
DION
How do I get back?
SEER
Let me show you.
The SEER places her hand on DIONS head, he is absorbed by
white light again.
INT. RITUAL CHAMBER. NIGHT.
DION is dragged down an alleyway. He blacks out again.
FEMALE VOICE
Focus. Youve done this before.
DION wakes in a dark room, the walls are going crazy and he
is unable to move. In front of him a WOMAN sits, looking at
him.
WOMAN
Im here for you...stay with me.
DION blacks out momentarily and when his eyes open again,
the WOMAN is gone. A haunting chant begins and he goes black
once more. As his eyes open again, a dark figure is in front
of him, the chanting has got more intense, the figure merges
into three distinct figures and one holds out the watch.
DARK FIGURE
Even death may die.
DION blacks out for a final time. This time, when he wakes,
a figure stands over him, he is holding a knife. The figure
plunges the knife down and everything fades to white.
EXT.FOREST LIMBO. DAY
FEMALE VOICE
There is still time.
DION wakes in the forest in the same way he did previously.
The watch is around his neck. He removes it and holds it up.
FEMALE VOICE
Let it go.
DION drops the watch and walks away from it. The watch sits
on the ground and begins to tick. He walks a little way
toward a bright light. He can see the outline of a woman.
(CONTINUED)
CONTINUED: 5.
FEMALE VOICE
You are close to the end, your mind
is clear, and you have left your
body behind. Take my hand and let
your spirit free.
DION takes her outstretched hand and we see events in the
film reversing. The watch ticks backwards and we see all of
the characters DION has met.
FEMALE VOICE
I have been with you all along.
Watching over your steps with a
guiding hand. there is nothing more
I can do for you now. The fragments
of your past have led you here and
you have broken out of the cycle.
Your time is finally up.
DION and the WOMAN walk away together into the endless
white.
