Breaking News!
The New Ho!and Mouse, which
"as declared extinct over a
century ago, has now made a
reappearance.This tiny, adorabl#
creature is sti! stru$ling, and
although it is no longer classied
as extinct, it is sti! Critica!y
Endangered. This remarkabl#
recovery cannot be overlooked.
Conservation e%orts hav#
already begun, to ensure that th#
population of these mice wi!
grow until they are no longer
ghting for existence. It is also
important to make sure this
creature stays safe, because they
are extremely important to their
ecosystems. Not only do they
provide food for
numerous other
species, but they
also stabilize th#
population of
their prey,
ensuring they wi!
not over produce.
A&er th#
astounding
recovery, th#
New Ho!and Mouse deserves to
live in a safe environment,
"here there is nothing
threatening their survival.

SHOULD WE
HELP SAVE ENDANGERED
SPECIES?
Should we put in the e"ort
to save species that already
have high risk of extinction?
This has been a frequently
asked question over the last few
years, as the populations of
many species continue to
decease. Many people argue no,
but the real answer is; of
course!
The majority of people
agrees that we should save
every animal, no matter what it
takes, but roughly 15# think
that there is no reason we
should even try. This minority
thinks that we should not do
anything at all to save a species
that is in danger and needs
help. This means taking away
all conservation areas, that
protect almost all endangered
species, and allowing humans to
take over. This would result in
the end of numerous
populations and would destroy
countless Forrest that produce
fruits and other natural foods
that humans need.
Conservation e"orts have
been made since the early
1800s, and thousands of
species have been saved
from near extinction because of
the protection they ensure.
This is proof that putting in the
e"ort to save endangered
species really does help, so why
would people not want to?

WE CANT SAVE THEM
ALL
Some people think that there
are only certain species that are
worth saving. In reality every
species deserves protection and
help when they are in need. It
would be inhuman to select only
some species and save them and
then just let other species die out.
All animals have important roles
in their ecosystems. No matter
how unimportant one species may
seem, they all contribute to the
health and stability of an
environment. If one species
becomes extinct because we
choose not to help, many other
species will follow.
WE ARE NOT
RESPONSIBLE FOR
OTHER SPECIES
Small groups of people believe
that the only species we are
responsible for is our own. Even
though us humans are the reason
that many species are endangered,
some people are able to overlook
that because they believe that we
are simply not responsible. This
is a cruel and unfair statement to
make, because some species
cannot x the mess that we made
by tearing down their entire
habitats and killing huge amounts
their population for food or trade.
As humans, we do have the
responsibility to solve problems
that we started and saving
endangered species is one of them.
No matter how much it takes, it is
only right that we do everything
that we can to help protect and
save the endangered animals.
LET NATURE TAKE ITS
COURSE
There are people who feel that
we shouldt save endangered
animals because we cant interfere
with nature. The truth is, the
human population has already
greatly interfered with nature by
destroying entire forests and
polluting the air. If we arent going
to help the endangered animals
because we want to avoid
interfering with nature, then we
also need to stop logging and
building huge cities over animal
habitats. We cannot just let
nature take it course because us
humans have already disturbed
natures true course, so we might
as well try saving the animals that
we have put at risk of extinction.
WASTE OF TIME
People believe that saving
endangered animals is just a waste
of time if some may still end up
extinct. To tell the truth, there is
no species that we are wasting
time trying to save, Even if a
certain species that needs our help
doesnt benet us, it is still needed
by its community. Every animal
plays an important part in keeping
its ecosystem running smoothly.
The food chain would also be
broken without all species alive.
For example; if one species goes
extinct, than others would either
die from lack of food or over
populate.
TOO MUCH MONEY
Some say that we are waisting
too much money trying to save
endangered species and preserving
their habitats. Realistically, we are
spending too much money on
destroying their habitats. It costs
over $100,000 just to clear one
square acre of land, and every year
roughly 3 million square acres are
cleared. This process has left us
with only 20# of Earths natural
forests. We have spent billions of
dollars destroying and reforming
other species habitats, but the
price of preserving animal habitats
is nothing. It doesnt cost anything
to avoid chopping down trees, and
building huge factories and new
roads. Also, not only is it costless,
but it prevents many animals
species from facing extinction.
There are some ways that you
can help save endangered species
by donating money, but it is all
going to a good cause. None of the
money is being wasted, it is all
used to protect and save
important species.
ITS UNREALISTIC
Many people think that there
are too many endangered species
to help save them all. It is true
that there is a huge amount of
endangered animals, but every one
of them can be saved if people
start helping. There are a great
amount of species that have beed
successfully saved due to the work
of humans. We have saved a
countless number of animals
already, so it is possible to save
many more. Also the only reason it
is unrealistic to save all the
endangered animals, is because us
humans has made it that way. The
majority of the 14,000 endangered
species are threatened by humans.
If we had left some forests that
were home to multiple species
intact, than many of them would
probably not be nearing
extinction.
We, as humans, need to start
thinking about species other than
our own and be willing to sacrice
things for them when they need
us. This problem was started by
humans and we can also end it by
helping out wherever and
whenever possible.
