To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Higher School Certificate (HSC) / General Certificate of Education, with 2 A Levels obtained at one and same
sitting or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution, including General Paper or English, and
French Language at principal or subsidiary level.
An excellent command of English and French is the key pre-requisite for a cabin crew position. A good standard
of fluency in the English and French languages both spoken and written is required. A third language would be an
advantage.
Minimum age 20 years and maximum age 30 years as at closing date
Minimum height of 157.5 cms (minimum arm reach of 212 cms on tip toes)
Body Mass Index (BMI) 18.5 to 24.9
Good swimming abilities
Good health is essential to cope with the physical nature of cabin duties. Short- listed candidates will be required
to pass a pre-employment medical examination to determine their fitness to fly as Cabin Crew. For eyesight, a
visual acuity of 6/9 in each eye is required, aided or unaided
Immaculate appearance
Applicants must hold a 10 year passport validity before employment
No visible tattoos or body piercing which cannot be discreetly covered
Strong Customer focus
Training in nursing or first aid will be an advantage

Note 1: Suitable Mauritian candidates will be offered contractual employment for a period of up to 2 years after
completion of the relevant training programmes.
