policy
The British Journal
of Ethnom usicology
is a refereed
journal published annually by
the
British Forum for
Ethnom usicology (BFE) . Mem bership
of BFE is
open
to all without restric-
tion. Likewise, the Journal welcom es all
scholarly contributions, regardless
of the author's
country
of
origin
or residence. Inform ation for contributors will be found on the inside back
cover. For details of
past
issues and other current inform ation, see our World Wide Web
hom e
page: http://www.bfe.org.uk.
Mem bership subscriptions
are
by
calendar
year.
Mem bers will receive two issues of the
Journal and two issues of the BFE Newsletter each
year.
Mem bers

to the Annual C onference and the Annual
One-Day C onference, and new
m em bers will be sent a
copy
of the BFE C onstitution. The Newsletter carries news of events
and institutions, reports
on conferences, inform ation on m em bers' interests and activities,

com m unications than those found in the Journal.
