Cheques received in planner practices between 20 June and 30 June 2014
Cheques received by planner practices between 20 June and 30 June 2014 must be sent immediately
to AMP.

Cheques you do not expect AMP to receive until after 3pm 30 June and before 5pm 2 July 2014,
must be accompanied by an EOFY Cheque acknowledgement form. This form will be made
available in June.

Cheques with an EOFY Cheque acknowledgement form attached, will be processed as an EOFY
payment (effective 30 June 2014) if received at AMP before 5pm Wednesday 2 July 2014.
Note: Couriering should be considered if there is any doubt about the timeliness of the mail service.

Cheques received after 5pm Wednesday 2 July will be processed with an effective date of the date
received.

By law, AMP is unable to backdate a payment. AMP applies contributions to a plan using the date the
contribution and all relevant documentation is received, not the date the payment was sent, nor the
date the cheque was mailed or received at a planner's office (except with the EOFY Cheque
Acknowledgement form).
