Thank you for your inquiry regarding the NGO (Non Germane Objector) OPTION available to

you.

IT IS THELAW -

* Ralph C. Dills Act, Chapter 10.3 - 3515.7 & 3515.8

Due to the high volume of inquiries we have received we are unable to respond to each person
individually. We will create a Q&A page on our website at www.seiuNGO.com to
address each question/inquiry (please allow 24-72 hrs. for this new page to be completed).

SEIUNGO.com is comprised of employees represented by SEIU Local 1000 and includes
members, fair share fee payers, and Non-Members (whom save approx. 34% of the regular
dues).

We are seeking to support and encourage accountability & transparency within our Union. Our
mission is to educate & inform all represented by SEIU of their rights, based on the Dills
Act, to only pay the dues amount required to cover the cost of individual representation.

SEIU Participants have the right to object to their portion of dues that are being spent anything
that is not related to collective bargaining. You have the right and option to pay only this
adjusted portion of fees, which is approximately 66% of the current amount you are paying and
still have fair representation by your union per the Dills Act. You will still be entitled to the
benefits of the collective bargaining agreement (wages, leave time, pensions, health insurance),
even if you are a non-member.

The above information is mailed by SEIU Local 1000 to all Non-Members once a year. Our
mission is to educate all employees represented by SEIU about their rights/options, not just the
Non-members.

Non Germane Objector Information can easily be verified by SEIU Local 1000 by calling
1 (866) 471-7348.

Thank you again for your interest and support.
