The Healthcare Team:

The healthcare team represents more than a third of the London agency business and
is the fastest growing team. The healthcare team specialises in the healthcare sector,
specifically marketing direct to consumers. We are very strategic in nature and have
two dedicated senior planners sitting within the team. Most of our work is digital no
surprise when you think about how consumers use the internet to search for health
information. And most of our work is global/ European we develop central consumer
strategy and then use the RAPP network to roll it out.

Clients include:
Pfizer Viagra we are the lead digital agency for Viagra Europe, delivering 3 websites
last year
Boots promoting beauty brands across Europe
Philips lead digital agency on brand repositioning project
Philips Avent development of an online mums club
Novo Nordisk development of patient support website for diabetes patients
Astellas lead agency for all HCP and patient communications, including 2 large
digital projects.

Merck (Schering Plough) launching comprehensive patient support programme
across 20+markets

The Client:

Merck/Schering Plough has launched a new biologic medication for Rheumatoid
Arthritis across multiple markets in Europe, and more markets are still to launch this
year. We are responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Patient
Support Program for the Global team. The creative has been developed as a
European template and has been delivered to the markets. We will assist markets with
the implementation of the program across Europe. We are coordinating with the
database build team and the teleservices team at Rapp.


Job Summary


We are looking for a highly competent Senior Account Manager, to be part of one of
our key accounts within the healthcare team. Working on a global healthcare account
and reporting into the AD you will be responsible for delivering a global product launch
involving the preparation of various print and online communications.

Key Responsi bi li t ies


This is a great opportunity for someone with strong operational skills to manage a team
in delivering global communications. Responsibilities include:

Managing all aspects of a campaign/launch (working closely with the AM), ensuring
they are delivered on time and on budget
First point of contact for Global and local clients
Be comfortable in dealing with both European and Global clients
Detailed financial management of multiple country budgets
Being able to manage different suppliers and internal teams in order to deliver the
best service to the Client
o Artwork and design studio
o Creative and copywriters
o Production
o Web-build team
o RAPP database
o RAPP call centre division
o Centralised fulfilment supplier
Plan, budget and traffic jobs efficiently
Control of creative outputs, schedules, cost estimates and financial control of jobs
Ensuring appropriate sign off of all required project documents i.e. Purchase orders


Ski lls & Experience

+2 to 3 years Agency experience
healthcare experience an advantage and/ or life sciences education

Some understanding of data would be beneficial
Good computer skills; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Knowledge of a second language would be beneficial (but not essential)
