First Thursdays @ the Edgewood Farmers Market

Dear Farmers Market Vendor,
You are invited to participate in the Edgewood Farmers Market every Thursday, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
The countys only covered pavilion is located next to the MARC Train Station at 2122 Old Edgewood
Road in Edgewood close to APG/Edgewood Area. Its completely shaded and offers a nice breeze on
most of our hot, summer afternoons. No need to set up a tent! Electric outlets are also available
between each station for your use something not available at most area markets.
We are starting a special event for the First Thursday of each month at the Edgewood Farmers Market.
Music by the MARC will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and feature live music in our outdoor setting.
The public is invited to bring lawn chairs to listen to the music, and, of course, shop the market place!
There will also be a food tent set up at the Edgewood Station Sports Bar and Grill located adjacent to
the Farmers Market. Commuters from the MARC train will be encouraged to stay after work to unwind
before heading home! It will prove to be a very successful event and one I hope you will want to be a
part of.
The cost to participate in our First Thursday events will be $15 per space, however, if you continue to
participate in our weekly market (every Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.), that cost will be refunded to
you. It is our hope that you will find the Edgewood Farmers Market a friendly place to sell your goods.
If you are interested, please reserve your space before July 27
th
. Space is limited; however, if we get
enough interest, we may expand the market area. Please respond right away. You can call or email
