LABORATORY EXPERIMENT

OBJECTIVES:
1. To know how to use the oscilloscope.
2. To prove that the theoretical and experimental will have the same result.
3. To know the behavior of the inductor, capacitor and resistors voltages differ from
one another in an A and to determine the phase difference of their voltages.
MATERIALS:
a. !scilloscope
b. "ignal generator with power cord
c. #readboard
d. Alligator clip
e. $%% & resistor
f. 'm( inductor
g. "mall wires
h. 22 )* capacitor
i. $ & resistor
*+,-./ 1
PROCEDURE:
1. "et up the circuit on the breadboard as shown in the figure 1.
2. "et the generator voltage to a convenient value like 2 0p. 1ake sure that the signal
generator voltage remains constant2 it ma3 drift. #e sure that the calibration knobs
remain off, otherwise the data will be worthless.
3. alibrate the oscilloscope properl3. *ollow the step below.
a. "et the fre4uenc3 and record its value.
b. heck the calibration knobs on the 5scope.
c. heck the signal generator voltage and ad6ust it if necessar3.
d. 1easure and record VR.
e. 1easure and record VL.

CONCLUSION:
Le observed that the computed value were almost the same as the result on the signal
generator. And the phase difference would be e4ual to G% degrees.
