1. ENERGY CONSULTANCY AND STRATEGY
We will work with Uintel, our strategic energy consultancy , to help our client TechHudd understand energy markets, respond
to regulations, achieve energy savings and self-generate power from renewable technology. This help will be provided in
regular meetings and will be available 24/7/365 from our helpdesk service.
The starting point will be to develop an energy strategy for CPT Building:
- working with TechHudd to identify the issues and develop a roadmap
- we will combine desk-based research with practical expertise to find straightforward answers to complex issues
- we will tailor the plan to suit specific needs of our client and their building

When the strategy is in place we will:
present the robust evidence that you need to make your investment case
then agree a clearly-defined scope of work and tangible outputs, and determine between us the best way that we can work
together
develop a comprehensive and effective carbon reduction and energy management strategy for CPT, from priorities and
performance, to implementation and measurement
Our last job will be to agree suitable performance targets and monitor your progress against them, so that we can refine and
adjust your strategy as circumstances change, and new challenges emerge.
2. ENERGY MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Our energy management service includes measuring your carbon footprint and working out how and where your building uses
energy
We will then devise energy saving campaigns and action plans and examine options for installing clean energy alternatives
We will help you run your building ultra-efficiently through deployment of building energy management systems combined with
first-class, intelligent maintenance regimes.
We will apply our low-carbon approach understanding the way the building is used, thinking laterally and applying new
technology and common sense to squeeze every last gram of CO2 saving from the maintenance routine

We will design, install and maintain comprehensive renewable systems such as :
- Ground Source Pump
- Solar Water Heating System
- Building Management Energy System - to get the most efficient energy performance from your buildings. The system will
provide accurate data to achieve the best results and deliver the maximum savings. The benefit of this advanced system is
that it will improve key energy hot-spots in CPT Building such as heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
3. CLEANING SERVICES
We provide first-class sustainable cleaning services
We will provide TechHudd with Cleaning staff that are skilled and experienced, and maintain close contact with their FM4u colleagues
who specialise in Health and Safety
Our Cleaning staff will ensure minimal electricity use when cleaning and will make sure finished products are recycled
All of the cleaning products our staff will use are eco-friendly our supplier of eco-friendly products is Ecover
The Cleaning staff are responsible for the day to day cleaning of all areas within the buildings. The times that areas are cleaned varies
from early morning (6am) through to evening (8pm) at CPT Building. Two members of staff will be available at the building for any
emergency cleaning.

4. ELECTRICAL INSPECTION
AND TESTING
Our specialist electrical testing and inspection team know the current legislation inside out, and will carry out
comprehensive periodic electrical inspections to ensure your premises and appliances are fully compliant at all
times. They can spot potential problems early on and assess possible risks, while ensuring you remain open,
with minimal disruption to your day-to-day operations
We will handle all your electrical testing needs, including portable appliance testing. We have hundreds of
mobile technicians all over the UK, with the skills you need to ensure you comply fully with all the current
regulations
We will also carry out regular thorough and efficient checks and inspections to keep your whole system
functioning properly.
PAT test - our approved team will provide a fast, efficient electrical PAT testing service. So as part of your duty
of care to your employees, check those stickers and get it tested. You can trust us with your electrical
equipment and ensure that your staff and people who use the building stay safe at all times
5. FIRE AND SECURITY SYSTEMS
Your fire prevention and building security systems are part of your building's life support system;
well make sure they keep you safe.
As an accredited fire prevention company, our fire and security team will integrate fire prevention,
detection, and suppression with your security equipment, including fire detectors, fire alarms,
extinguishers, sprinkler systems, air sampling, gas suppression, wet and dry risers, hose reels,
intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV. We will make all these things work seamlessly
together, from design, installation and testing, through to commissioning and maintenance.
6. FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES
Our fire protection team is fully qualified and accredited to install a wide range of fire protection
services. We will work with you to do far more than just install fire protection solutions. We add
real value to your project through our expert knowledge. We evaluate and make sure we
understand your buildings fire hazards and come up with the best solution
We will carry out a range of fire protection services including:
- acoustic, thermal and fire sealing
- fire stopping
- structural fire protection
- maintenance and inspection monitoring
We offer a unique and flexible approach to every project and will work with you to carry out our
service with minimal disruption, at times that suit you.



7. LIGHTING
We use LIFE- Lighting in future environments, a radical new
approach which is designed to save you money and reduce
carbon emissions over the whole life of your lighting
installations
LIFE is a holistic package that looks at the design and
management of your lighting over a set period of time. We
guarantee not only the performance of the technology we
recommend, but specific levels of energy and carbon savings.
LIFE will cut your maintenance costs, give you more
predictable budgets, and will ensure you comply with legal
regulations, as well as giving you the ability to upgrade over
time as new technology is introduced.
We will provide you with lighting design, installation and
maintenance. We will also improve your current lighting
systems to ensure you save energy and environment.
8. PEST CONTROL
We will provide a service from technical inspections and routine preventative services to dirty
house clearance works and the removal of pest-contaminated waste. We can design, manufacture
and maintain insect screens, curtains, install electronic fly killers and glue traps. We will provide
bird control and bird proofing, insect identification, vegetation and weed control, and wildlife
management. We will also train your own people in pest awareness
Our mobile staff will be available within an hour in case of emergencies. We also offer an online
help service in emergencies. This includes all the most important questions and answers and quick
guides on how to deal with a pest problems before one of our staff arrives to deal with it.
9. WASTE MANAGEMENT
FM4u range of waste services covers the full range of waste management, from clinical, hazardous, non-
hazardous wastes to waste recycling, provision of internal communal bins and external waste collection services
We will provide a full monthly report, detailing your waste recycling performance by site is generated through
our management information system
We will recycle pretty much everything from your building cans, cardboard, batteries, glass, paper, plastics,
used oil, oily rags, metal, toners, and food waste. We also recycle electronic and electrical equipment, in a way
that complies fully with current legislation
We will provide you with our own bins with easy to read instructions on them to help you understand what
should or what should not be put in a certain bin. We will also provide regular bin collections
FM4u will treat or dispose your laboratory chemical waste. We will also manage regular chemical waste drum
collections, tanker collections and cleaning, shutdown clearances, spill response, chemist list and pack services,
sampling services and duty of care support.
10. WATER TREATMENT
We will provide service from water testing and treatment, to water hygiene. Plus we will provide
advice and consultancy through to microbiological sampling and water system analysis, to the
delivery of chemical solutions
Our technicians will conduct on-site monitoring of water quality and microbiological testing using
the latest hand-held tools. These include intelligent digital pens that recognise standard water
report forms, and can instantly record and transmit data to our back-office systems, for real-time
reporting
Along with the industrial and water hygiene services, there are other services that we will provide
to TechHudd. For example, we will provide laboratory services for a range of different analyses.
